Tesco are sorry as I expect for not…
Tesco are sorry as I expect for not providing their usual standards of service.
They are running a much trimmed service due to the enforced Pandemic and Government advice. As a result queuing is inevitable dependant on the time of day. Tesco have gone to great lengths to maintain as best a service that it can offer under the current circumstances. Extra staff have been brought in to try and keep it's core service going. Shop floor staff have increased to keep shelves stocked as well as the increased home delivery network. So if you are unable to get to store you can op for a home delivery at a nominal charge and slightly longer delivery time, also an increase driver employment to assist.

My first time at tescos in a long…
My first time at tescos in a long time.lole most people I moved away from shopping from them at their peak for one reason or another, however. Tescos in mickleover derby was a joy. Great set up for corona virus and the staff were all pleasant.
The products were of good quality and it was a calm shopping experience.
I will certainly be returning as I normally shop at Asda etc

WELL DONE TESCO
Exceptional service at Tesco pharmacy.
We visited the pharmacy at our local Tesco in Oakenshaw Redditch. We were hoping to buy face masks as a close relative had an urgent hospital appointment on the following day. Clare served us and unfortunately they had not got any in store for sale. Hearing our predicament and the urgency of the situation, Clare gave us a face mask for free. This was so kind and meant that we could get the face mask to our relative so that she could stop worrying. In the middle of a pandemic Clare showed exceptional customer service .

Tesco's click and collect service Stretford
I have been using since the start of lock-down, Tesco's click and collect service
at their Stretford store. The staff who run this service are brilliant, polite,
friendly and very efficient. Within a minute or so of arriving, you are on your way, without having to leave your car.
The staff who run this service are a credit to Tesco and should be commended.
Very Bad/Terribly Poor Shopping Experience
Very Bad/Terribly Poor 'Unhappy Shopping Experience'
Due to: Unhelpful staff, rudeness, unsmiley staff with poor or lack of customer service experience,
It's not the first bad and disappointing experience at this store in Salford; however today could be the worst.
Wanted to pick an item on a shelf but there was member of the staff there blocking, then left the section and few minutes later returned back however the same person was still there sitting on the floor and ignored me and another lady; never give any way to pick items.
Above that she spoke in a very impolite and unfriendly way; as if customers disturbed her. However, she supposed to give way so customers get a chance to pick some items.
As a result, left the store without buying any, since luckily Aldi and Lidl are there, and got everything I needed.
How unhelpful and inexperienced workers Tesco got ?!
I usually avoid shopping at Tesco in Salford, especially these days; as luckily there are competitors in the area, such as Aldi and Lidl.
However, I'm writing in the hope that ...
The store manager or Tesco customer service managers improve this very poor shopping experience in this store.
At least need to ... train some of the staff how to talk to customers, how to smile and how to represent TESCO name, not in a negative or bad way.
However, still not sure if this store got anyone care about 'shopping experience'! BAD
Keep up the good work!
You have done so well with your home delivery during COVID-19. You have made more delivery slots available and are doing all you can for your customers. The only reason I have not given 5 stars is you do seem not to make available most of your cheaper or value products for home delivery.
Tesco
Tesco, you certainly are a cut above the rest, your online service for click and collect
is the best. You've got it right, one or two hiccups now and then, but much better than your competitors.
Keep it up.
Annette and Dave.
Bad Experiences and Careless Staff
I'll never go to Tesco Extra in Salford anymore until the situation back to normal ... due to bad/embarrassing experience around 8.20 this evening at the front door?!
As a result and luckily I went to Lidl instead, short walk, and bought everything I needed for this week; however my original plan was to buy everything from Tesco only, as its closer distance from home.
The question is what kind of staff/workers is this? who carelessly make customers leave and go to the competitors; eventhough it wasn't busy time.
And I wonder how many customers per week Tesco lose; because of this kind of staff members.
Personally, if the current situation last another 12 months, I will never ever buy from this Tesco again, even though its very close to my home.
Also I think the competitors Lidl and Aldi in Salford need to appreciate Tesco's staff lack of customer service experience and carelessness.
Tesco Extra in Salford deserve Zero/no rating, I am very disappointed.
I am or was one of Tesco
I am or was one of Tesco, Askam Bar, York best customers of 48 years shop until recently i was there and the worse Tesco customer service I have ever experienced.
I was refused being served at the kiosk then a rude lady by the name of Liz was very rude to me while I was still at the kiosk not being discreet so everyone could hear what she was saying, I felt I was not welcome at the store.
A few days later I had done my shopping payed for and coming out of the self service checkout when a rude , argumentative and clever attitude approached my not considering the social distance of two meters and getting closed each movement and was totally lying to me and accusing me of something that was untrue.
Have not been to the store since and can not recommend to anyone, Morrison in York far better customer service.
Tried to get online delivery’s found it…
Tried to get online delivery’s found it impossible! My wife and I over 70 live in very rural area 30 miles to a supermarket Hexham or Hawick . We believe it best to stay home and do our bit. Tesco no help whatsoever!
Visited Tesco (leytonstone) this…
Visited Tesco (leytonstone) this morning between 9 - 10 am (suppose to be the aged special hour) The store was packed with all shoppers and horrendous queues. People with trolleys at the self service paying area. I handed my basket of 8 items to a staff member and left the store without a thing. Tesco you're an absolute disgrace. Say one thing and do another. Very bad management.
Aged 69 No Car No Way of Contacting Store as Contact Numbers do Not Work
We are told to stay in the house and limit the shopping trips made.
To aid this Tesco Scotland are failing to even answer enquiries why there are no delivery slots.
I don't have a car, I buy fortnightly, never hoarded and this company is just a farce and their inability will be remembered.
This situation has not happened overnight and regular customers are being abandoned.
nearly 40 years shopping but never again
3 days ago we experienced the worst possible treatment from Tescos Carrickfergus Northern Ireland (also UK 0800 line)
My husband is 85, uses a wheelchair, has multiple health problems and I am 74 with severe osteoarthritis and heart problems, I am however reasonably fit, capable and independent.
12 days ago, we started to develop heavy winter colds – as confirmed by our GP. Naturally we are isolating and tried to use online delivery but there were no slots, so I selected click and collect.
As the direct number for Carrickfergus I had is no longer in use I rang the 0800 number. I asked if I could be put in touch with the local manager, but the young man insisted, I deal with him.
I explained my circumstances that we have no family locally and neighbours are unable to help on this occasion, in any case I don’t wish to burden people unnecessarily.
My request was that I drive to the Carrickfergus store, remain in the sealed car and ask that my order be wheeled to a spot in the carpark and left and when the member of staff had cleared the area I could lift the groceries into the car and drive off without contact with anyone.
I was told this was not possible and as the young man was clearly following instructions I asked if I could speak with someone senior.
A lady identified herself as the duty manager and I asked the question again. She also refused saying it would place staff in danger – I then asked how wheeling a trolley to the carpark, waving at me through the sealed car because we are isolating but only with colds, and returning could place anyone in more danger than the day to day mixing with customers about whose state of health there is NO information. She quite tartly asked me how I knew I was not infected, and had I been tested – again I replied politely stating that as my GP is qualified, I was content with his diagnosis and our symptoms had only been a thick head and runny nose.
She agreed to ring the store and came back to me confirming that the local manager had also refused.
I find this staggering. I thought Tesco’s were supporting the elderly and disabled. I had absolutely no means of collecting this order but could not afford to cancel as we desperately need the provisions, we have literally run out of food. Subsequently and very reluctantly I had to contact a charity where amazing volunteers are helping out. Sadly as one perfectly capable of carrying out this click and collect with just a little lateral thinking on the part of the local store, I have had to take one of these volunteers away from helping someone far more vulnerable, getting them to collect what is my first click and collect and will be my last ever shop at Tesco’s.
So much for their expressions of supporting the local community
This Morning 20/03/2020
This Morning 20/03/2020. Tesco Metro , Pulborough Opening times especially for the elderly. Between 9-10 AM. Packed out with all ages... Mostly empty shelves.
A complete waste of time...Were not prepared.Staff seemed to be oblivious as to why ?
Really bad Tesco !
Milk Aisle
Can't seem to contact them anywhere else so maybe they'll read this. The usual Battleground is only marginally worse than usual due to the General Public eating everything in sight, but MAYBE now that the Shelves are completely empty they could use this opportunity to Deep Clean the Milk Aisle to get rid of that ever present STINK!
Rip off Tesco.
Have normally avoided Tesco due to high prices but Fri night popped in to the store in Redditch to pick up a couple of things as I was driving past anyway. I needed bread , milk , Vosene & one or two other things , lost count of the amount of red out of stock labels I saw , also the prices of basics , a good example was the Vosene shampoo , B&M its £1 , in Tesco £2 for the same size bottle " Double " , it was the same story with dozens of other items , another good one was rich tea biscuits , if you buy a twin pack you save a whole " 1p " , no wonder the likes of Aldi & Lidl or doing so well , they are making huge profits , so what are Tesco doing!!! , Every little helps line their pockets , Wake up Tesco & get your house in order. Be realistic & people will come back to you. As for me , Tesco are off the menu.
tesco bradford is a 10*
