Can't give negative stars otherwise I would. Made an offer which I accepted. Called to find out when they would come for vehicle, no one available. I cancelled the sale after waiting 5 days.

After receiving your response my comment holds. You don't even know your customers. It was my son who was selling the car I wasn't involved.
Car has now been sold to Motor point for a higher price, no quibbling.
If you buy a vehicle you should be able to notify seller within 24 hours when a vehicle can be collected. This is 2026 not 1926.

When we place an offer and it is accepted, the next stage involves coordinating collection through our dedicated logistics team. We operate a nationwide service and manage multiple vehicle collections daily. Our collection process is not automated or instant, as each vehicle requires route planning, driver allocation, inspection preparation, and scheduling confirmation.
We have a separate collection department made up of four team members, supervised by a manager, who coordinate calls, availability, and inspection logistics across the UK. Once a sale is agreed, sellers are contacted directly by this team to arrange a suitable date based on driver routes and capacity.
While we make every effort to contact all sellers promptly, there are occasions where calls are not answered, voicemail messages are left, or scheduling confirmations take longer due to operational demand. Our team handles a high volume of vehicles, and while we aim to respond quickly, availability is subject to nationwide logistics rather than instant availability.
We do not agree with the implication that the business is unreliable. We have been trading for over 11 years and have completed more than 18,000 vehicle transactions. Our structured inspection and collection process exists to ensure vehicles are assessed properly and transported safely, not to delay or inconvenience sellers.
We understand that waiting can be frustrating, particularly when a sale has been agreed. However, scheduling in a nationwide operation requires coordination and availability, and it is not always possible to provide immediate collection within a few days.
We remain committed to transparent, professional service and appreciate the opportunity to explain how our process works.

DO NOT BUY a car from N T Traders in Romford
We bought a car from N T Traders which was supposedly serviced and valeted, in January, it was delivered late on a dark rainy evening. The next day, we saw that the car was filthy inside and out, the previous owners rubbish all over the vehicle and dog toys were still left in the boot.
A service due warning, a tyre pressure warning, a battery warning and an engine fault warning displayed on the dash screen. The car drove badly, and we had no confidence that the necessary work would be done correctly by them, so we decided to complain and ask for a refund, we did this verbally and in writing.
We have been promised that the car would be collected on four separate occasions over the last 26 days, but it seems that even if the car is returned, we will struggle to get our money back. They are difficult to deal with as they just say they will do the right thing but do not act on it. They have no email address, so you can only communicate by mobile using WhatsApp, it is therefore difficult to keep usable chains of communication.
Have just read the reply to this review which is a complete fabrication, we still have the car and a refund has definitely not been received!

We strongly disagree with the way this situation has been presented and feel it is important to clarify the full outcome for anyone reading.
Firstly, the matter did not remain unresolved. The vehicle was returned and the refund has already been processed. The suggestion that money would not be returned is simply incorrect. We do not retain customers’ funds unfairly, and we operate in line with consumer law.
The vehicle was delivered during winter conditions, and while we aim to present all vehicles in clean and prepared condition, weather and transport can occasionally affect presentation on delivery. That said, concerns were raised and were taken seriously. When customers choose to reject a vehicle, the correct process must be followed, including arranging logistics and administrative confirmation before funds are released. These steps can take time, but they are procedural, not intentional delays.
We also categorically reject the claim that we do not have proper communication channels. We operate with clear contact methods, and our customer support details are as follows:

Do not waste your time selling your car to this crowd! They value the car and offer you the money - they then mess you about, change and lower the value and try and coerce you to accept a rock bottom, below market offer. If you are desperate for the cash you will be left with no choice. BEWARE! They have no ethics or morals in running a business - I would stay well away.

Clarifying How Our Vehicle Purchasing Process Works
We strongly reject the claims made in this review and believe it is important to explain how our purchasing process actually operates.
When we place a bid, it is based entirely on the information provided at the auction stage. If, during inspection, the vehicle condition differs from what was described, we are required to reassess the valuation to reflect the real cost of preparing the car for retail. This is standard practice across the motor trade and is not an attempt to “coerce” anyone.
Sellers are never forced to proceed. The decision always remains with the vehicle owner. If a revised valuation is not acceptable, the seller is completely free to decline the offer and move on without obligation.
It is also important to note that the majority of our negative reviews relate to purchasing vehicles, not selling them. The reason is simple: we operate strict inspection standards because we prioritise quality and safety for our buyers. We would rather adjust a price or walk away from a deal than compromise on the standard of vehicle we supply to customers.
We have been trading for over 11 years and have sold more than 18,000 vehicles. Our processes are structured, transparent, and aligned with industry practice. Accusations of lacking ethics or morals are completely unfounded.
