Tried to return a parcel which their website doesn't recognise the retailer. Numerous emails to them, phone calls etc, nobody has responded to me. Pathetic.

Lack of cleaning lets it down

Been coming here with my wife since Christmas and during that time we've noticed that on certain days no cleaning takes place. Last Friday there was no toilet paper anywhere to be found, and nobody to ask either. The only person I've seen cleaning is Rachel who does a nice job even with a broken wrist. Frustrating but I've got to honest with the state of the place.

I went in Bedford branch to open a cash…

I went in Bedford branch to open a cash ISA. After queuing up for half an hour I was told I was in the wrong queue! This was despite a member of staff going down the queue asking people what they wanted. I was told to join another queue which had an hours waiting time!
I said to the Cashier that I'm very disappointed with their performance. She said come back another time then. I didn't care for her attitude so I said it seems like my custom isn't valued here so I'm thinking maybe open an account elsewhere. She said yeah if you want to do that. I was fed up so left the branch.
Next thing I get an email from the branch Manager asking me about my "experience". So I replied that it wasn't very good. She emailed me back asking to speak with me. She never rang when she said so I rang the branch to find out why. They said she's busy so ring back tomorrow at 10am. I did this and guess what? Manager is busy, she's going to ring you next they said.
I waited by the phone over 2 hours and no phone calls from her. I emailed my discontent and said I may as well go elsewhere as I'd told the cashier.
The Manager emailed me saying she'd repeatedly rang both my numbers but I'd put the phone down on her! What a bunch of c**p! I never got any calls from her. She then gave me a logged time stamp of these "calls". And when I looked at the phone numbers they were old numbers 30 years out of date! I'd been into the branch just 2 years ago and updated all my contact details including phone and new address. She claimed that I hadn't done this! There's nothing worse than some jumped up incompetent so called manager calling me a liar, so when she said she'd ring me to get my "new" details I said I am past caring anymore as I'm going elsewhere. She promised to ring again but never did! Appalling customer service and awful attitude. I've been a customer since the early nineties too! Their loss, I've gone elsewhere. Nobody calls me a liar and gets away with it.

Spoke to Nathan who was very clear and easy to understand, unlike some companies who use overseas personnel. He answered my questions fully and was very courteous. I'm sure that I got the best price possible for our insurance.

It was so nice to actually interact with a real person!

It was so nice to actually interact with a real person instead of the online forms or robots that are so common now. The girl I spoke to (forgot her name, sorry!) was very polite and helpful. Also in the age of poorly spoken English, she was crystal clear over the phone and understood me perfectly too. It was this professionalism that ultimately persuaded me to take their quote. Maybe I could have got cover cheaper elsewhere but customer service means a lot to me so Adrian Flux got the nod!

The call centre offered me a next day…

The call centre offered me a next day appointment at my house so I was quite happy! The technician came on time and finished on time too. He was friendly and very good. I recommend autoglass.

Nice selection of furniture

We went to look at some sofas and wanted to take our time. We were only there a few minutes when a salesman approached us. Me and my wife both assumed he would hassle us constantly, but we were wrong. He introduced himself as Raz and said take as much time as you like. So we did! He was patient and helpful and courteous. He knew all about the products for sale too. Eventually we found the right one for us and Raz ordered it up and did all the paperwork. He even gave us a bottle of water each while he was doing things. Top marks!

(I booked a spa day) for me and my wife…

(I booked a spa day for me and my wife for my birthday. But Champneys couldn't fit us in, so I asked for a refund. The reply was quick and I was assured that I will be reimbursed soon. Time will tell whether I have to chase them up for money, hence the 4 stars and not 5.

We'll order another one for the other side of the garden, as it's a great little shed. Well made and decent quality wood. A special mention for the driver who was very helpful and brought it round to the back garden for us (a lot of drivers just leave it on the pavement!)

We bought a fridge and a dishwasher on…

We bought a fridge and a dishwasher on consecutive days. The salesman for the fridge didn't listen to questions or answers, didn't know about his products and came across as cocky.
That sales lady for the dishwasher was the polar opposite! Very professional and listened to us.
I suggest that they arrange regular staff appraisals to weed out the sub standard ones.
Price wise they are quite fair. One other thing to consider is the "free delivery". When we asked for it we were told that we would have to pay an extra £20. The salesman told me that "hey, I don't own the company, I only work here. It is what it is" nice attitude eh!
