After having my second damaged bike delivered, bobbin said they would send a new bike out and collect this one, I get a email to say I have a parcel from bobbin being delivered I stay in yet again and now the parcel I have been delivered is light up bouncy balls!!! Where is my new bike and when is the damaged one getting collected?!!!!!!!! The service is disgraceful and I am doing a bank charge back today if this is not resolved!

Bought two bikes from Bobbin, and within a year one had a chain that kept falling off and the other had a tyre that wouldn't hold air. When I contacted customer service, I was told both issues fell just outside the one-year warranty window, so there was no repair, replacement, or refund on offer — just instructions to tighten the chain myself and buy a puncture repair kit.

I brought two bikes from facebook market place which show better signs of wear despite being kept outside and really not looked after. Terrible quality - do not buy.

Two separate faults appearing within the first year is disappointing, and there was no flexibility or goodwill shown when I raised it, despite being a returning issue so early on. Can't recommend if you're looking for a company that stands behind its products beyond the bare minimum warranty period.

Love the colour and fit of my new bike helmet. Very secure, a well made bit of kit, and good value for the quality and style.

Prompt dispatch and excellent communication from supplier through the purchase process.
Delivery company were not very good: delivered outside the specified timescales ( a day late and then a number of hours after the delivery window) and just left the bike on the doorstep without ringing the doorbell ( and yes I have checked that the bell is working!). As the delivery was made in the evening it was purely by chance that the bike was discovered, and it could easily have been taken from the doorstep overnight!!

EDIT: A RESPONSE HAS BEEN MADE ASKING ME TO CONTACT CUSTOMER CARE. I HAVE DONE THIS NUMEROUS TIMES WITH NO RESPONSE.

I bought this order a few months ago and we've had a few problems with it.

1. The back tyre has deflated numerous times since day 1
2. The brake wire has cut my daughter's leg
3. The front wheel got stuck in the pump and when pulling this out, the tube also came out, so the bike is now not rideable.

My daughter has literally had this bike for less than 6 months and we've never had issues like this before with a bike.

It's under warranty, I've tried to call the company, line cut off. Tried emailing, no responses. Tried Facebook messenger, they replied saying 'someone will be in touch' they never were. They also haven't replied to any further messages.

This is appalling service and I will be taking this further. The bike has literally been used a handful of times.

Poor quality control and lacking customer service skills

Purchased a pink bike for our 3 year old granddaughter for Christmas 2025 on Christmas eve started to assemble the bike and 2 parts were damaged customer service eventually replied in the January ok Christmas shut down understandable to send pictures of damage and 4 weeks approximately a second reply no spare parts be with you in a few weeks this went on and on and on with same excuses of no spares 8 months later 1 of the spare parts in stock after submitting issue to Trading Standards conveniently to be told it’s shipped tracked supposed to be next day 3 days later still not here contact customer service and told will contact local delivery office but was told they take 24hours to reply 24 hours pass nothing so I contacted local delivery office and i get a reply in 10 minutes thats even at 6pm so not 24 hours to be told its not been dispatched to them for delivery. So back to customer service again and was told we did send it will send another. Arrived and what a surprise no quality control as it arrived damaged and now waiting for whole replacement for me to remove the parts i need as they can not be bothered to do this themselves. And not even a mention at all with regards to any gesture of good will all though this has so far been dragging on for 8 months
They advertise quality bikes but there more like reconditioned bikes think twice before ordering use local stockist as customer service should be better

I had a Bobbin Kingfisher bought for me as a gift in March 2026. The bike arrived promptly and didn't take too long to assemble. Sadly after just a few weeks parts started to fall off and lost some fixings required for the gear leaver. I've also developed an issue with the pedal crank arm which is coming loose every few miles. Customer service at Bobbin are slow. I get the feeling that they aren't set up to deal with problems and that the certainly don't hold spare parts. I've had to sort these issues myself.

What a joy it is to ride the Brownie 7. I wish I had bought this bike years ago! The colour and look is super chic but the weight is perfect and it handles so smoothly. The delivery was quick and efficient and I couldn't be happier.

I sent this to the customer services email on 7th July, and have not had any response. Since some people have received a reply on here, maybe I will too!
Starting with the delivery via APC, I received a delivery notification for between 1-3 on Wednesday 1st July. I had plans, but rearranged them for after the school run to ensure I was home for the delivery. Just before 3pm, the ETA updated to between 3-5. Frustrated, I altered my plans again until the following morning. 5pm came and went, and the parcel was no longer being delivered that day, but now scheduled for the following morning!
The parcel was finally delivered on the Thursday, and stored until today when I could check the contents and build the bike.

When I opened the box I discoved lots of faults. The bike has several scratches and scuffs to the paint work and metal parts, (photos attached) including on the wheel rim, the top of the handle bars, the pedal arm, the plastic cover on the gear fixture... the front wheel mud guard was bent at the point it fixes to the frame, the bearings in the pedals have seized and do not spin freely, and the bell gets stuck and also seems seized. The cream wheels are dirty with smudges of grey and brown, and the stitching on the basket straps appears to have been tied in a knot with a poor finish.

The parcel does not appear to have been handled with care, as one plastic part (I'm assuming meant for protecting something) was snapped, and loose in the box, protective cardboard covers had come away from wherever they had been previously, also loose in the box, and the front wheel had been wedged onto the pedal arm, bending one of the spokes on the rim.

Both the quality control, and handling by the courier (and now 12 days of radio silence from customer service) has fallen far short of the quality I had come to expect from Bobbin.

Reply from bobbin to this review requests me to contact customer support. I already did this on 7th July, with over 20 photos of the damage, and still haven't received a response 14 days later.

They used a courier that had a local depot which meant I could collect at my own leisure.

Quick turnaround. Had a new bike within days.

My only gripe is their bikes use the old woods valves on their inner tubes and I couldn't get an adapter or a pump that worked with them locally.

They've asked me to reach out to their customer care team but their phone line is cut off, they don't reply to emails and they are no longer at their registered address...lol

I've just got off the phone with the provided delivery company for the 6th day in a row, and they've still said they don't have the package despite Bobbin claiming they do...

Very efficient on time delivery service and very high quality product!
