This is the third time I've had to use Denplan for "emergency" treatment and like the previous occasions Denplan agents were excellent. The original call was handled very efficiently by Shelley who set a deadline for a call-back and then by James who had to do the legwork of finding a dentist in the rural area I was in. This occurred within 24 hours. I think what makes Denplan a 5* in my opinion is that the agent owns the issue, keeps you updated and arranges the appt for you. Thank you Shelley and James.

I had a very positive experience with Denplan’s customer service team. I initially reached out via their digital assistant, which quickly gathered my details and connected me to an advisor without any delay.
Beth, the advisor who assisted me, was extremely helpful, professional, and efficient. I had a query regarding a claim where part of the hygienist charge had been missed. Beth promptly investigated the issue, acknowledged the discrepancy, and processed the correction straight away.
I was informed that the additional payment would be issued within a few working days — all handled within minutes of the chat.
Overall, I was impressed by:

I owed Denplan some money because I had moved house and could not find a Denplan dentist near my new home. Rather foolishly I cancelled my direct debit without giving 21 days notice.
I made the payment I owed over the phone with Dawn. She was excellent.

Absolutely superb, thank you Nicky and James.
I called with an emergency at 10:30pm. Not only were Denplan responsive but incredibly kind too.
As promised by Nicky, a dentist called me back. As promised, James from Denplan called before 9am with an appointment for an emergency dentist. The dentist I saw was wonderful and within less than 48 hours my tooth was extracted and all sorted.
Kept promises, and done with absolute kindness. Thank you.

Normally I make my claim online but I had to call as this was different to a routine claim. (emergency appointment so there was a little more back and forth) Got through with very little wait time and claim resolved the same day - THANK YOU Beth great service

My Mar26 dental invoice cannot be claimed in Apr26. It's their yearly cut off policy on 31Mar even I renewed their policy 4/25-3/26 and 4/26-3/27.

I called denplan as I was in a lot of pain and wasn't sure what to do. The lady on the phone was great. She listened and helped me and explained everything with what I needed to know and do.
After everything she called me back to ensure I was ok and all sorted.
Very great service. Just sorry I forgot her name.

The personal we're very helpful and listened to my problem. I had a phone call from my dentist who gave me a choice of being seen Saturday or make me an appointment for Tuesday. Very good service all round.
Had a phone call Sunday asking if I was happy with the outcome... BRILLIANT service

I spoke to Sam on the phone on the 28th of April chasing up a refund of dental treatment I had received from my dentist.
Sam was fab and within minutes I received an email confirming that the refund will be refunded in 3 working days fab service thank you!!

I am currently paying Denplan £255.84 per year and my wife pays the same-do the sums ,one maybe two dentists visits a year costing a maximum of about £70 per year.i know it also covers emergency care overseas but so does my annual travel insurance so sadly gaining nothing there either.

I have been on holiday in Australia for three months. Unfortunately, I have had to use the local dental services twice. Both times I have claimed on my Denplan and both times the claims have been accepted and arrangements made for reimbursement within 36 hours. I really can’t fault their service and the staff members I have dealt with have been first rate too.

Very difficult to get through and too many questions as to why you are calling
A number of years ago I was always impressed with the telephone service but not any more I get the impression obstacles are put in the way so as to avoid the customer getting through

Contacted Denplan as had dental emergency whilst driving NC500, miles from dentists. Lady was extremely helpful and friendly, explaining the process for finding me an appointment. She explained all costs and arranged for an appt the next morning. This was fantastic service. So pleased to be in Denplan.
