Founded in 2009 Durham Rose is a studio of talented individuals who are passionate about working with you to create true timeless expressions of your love. Using revolutionary methods of design and production, each and every custom ring produced is a unique one off, truly you and beautifully bespoke. Before we were Durham Rose we were Hot Pink, but as our company grew we decided that our name should grow with us too. Like our bespoke service, we wanted our company’s name to feel truly personal, and what could be more personal than naming it after the couple behind the business?

Durham Rose made everything about this nerve racking process a delight. The one to one nature of their ring design and build is amazing and well worth the money. Melissa in particular was super patient after changing my mind more than once so couldn't thank them enough. Couldn't recommend them more.

Great service from Durham Rose
Great service from Durham Rose. My husband used them for my engagement ring, which is beautiful. I also used them for my wedding band, which I decided I wanted at the last minute. They helped to get it to me on time just before the wedding with great postal delivery and tracking. The consultation service and 3D imaging is also very helpful. They also resized both of my rings for free.
The only negative we have was that when we were discussing the wedding bands, there was no communication for a long time from when we first had a consultation to sorting our order out. And the price for a plain simple band was a lot more than other jewellers, so we ended up getting my husband's wedding band from someone else. I would have done the same, but I wanted it to match my engagement ring, so it was bespoke. Also the website could really do with a refresh - it's very dated and would definitely have put me off if my husband hadn't already got my ring from there!

I contacted Durham Rose with a design in mind, and they absolutely delivered. The ring was beautiful, the service was excellent, and they were very transparent with the whole process. I especially appreciated how each aspect of the design was quoted separately so you could see how different options would affect the price. Wonderful experience all around!

From start to finish, Durham Rose and our designer Melissa were fantastic. Melissa was really helpful, explaining the process, giving me an idea of budget and discussing all options with me. The design process was intuitive and the input from Melissa ensured the ring came out as I had envisaged. It was great to be able to see the design take shape and all of my options regarding metals and diamonds. All in all, I couldn't be happier.

Nothing short of perfection
My fiancé and I have used Durham Rose twice now; both to design and create my engagement and wedding bands two years apart. Both Gemma (engagement ring) and Melissa (wedding band) were warm, professional, and went above and beyond to meet our requests and ensure nothing fell short of perfection every step of the way.
The result is a beautiful wedding set designed exactly how we requested, with excellent quality metal and stones for an even better price tag than we could have picked it up for in a high-street/chain jewellers.
Durham Rose isn’t just a jewellers, it’s a journey and experience - and what an incredible one it’s been for us!
We look forward to using them again in the future for my eternity band.

Outstanding Custom Design Process
I worked with Melissa throughout the custom design of the engagement ring and she was perfect all the way. I initially set up multiple calls with multiple companies and Melissa stood out from the start.
She was always helpful, knowledgeable and patient. She helped me design the perfect ring for my partner and I'm so happy! The ring was perfect.

Custom Engagement Ring
Durham Rose was by far the best company I contacted when starting the process of making a custom ring. The initial stages were thorough and efficient, and the video call at the start of the process was brilliant. Where other companies would draw sketches, which is a good start, it wasn’t as helpful or visually accurate as seeing it in the CAD software. It was after this step in the process that I decided Durham Rose was definitely the company for me.
Melissa was great from start to finish, and extremely helpful in giving her opinions on what worked best, based on the design I was hoping to achieve. I had a tight deadline in which the ring needed to be completed by, and they rose to the challenge! The ring was even better than I could've imagined.
It was a pleasure to work with Melissa throughout this progress and I highly recommend Durham Rose.

It’s difficult to find jewellers to…
It’s difficult to find jewellers to custom create pieces, at least in the U.K., so I was delighted to find Durham Rose. The process to make my ring with my stone was very easy and everyone involved was professional and personable. The ring is of high quality and I have no doubt will be worn a lot in the coming years.

Bespoke Ring
Years ago Manu and his team created my ideas and made me a ring I have loved for years. This year Manu and Melissa again created a ring to reflect my watch and other rings - the complete set looks so good together. Would highly recommended this company for not only producing excellent work at a good price, but their attention to detail and the customer is second to none. Well done!!!!

Got this beautiful engagement ring from Durham Rose and I can only say that the whole experience was so smooth and pleasant I can only recommend them with a 5 star rating. I would like to thank Simon for a great knowledge and being such a good guide throughout also Melissa for making the customer experience an absolute pleasure. I did not have the finger size but DR magic just worked and it’s a perfect fit for my now newly fiancé. The production time was spot on and I got the ring a few days before proposing. Prices are fair but flexible. Thank you all for making this moment one of a kind!

Having heard about Durham Rose from our daughter, whose engagement ring was designed by Melissa Vass we decided to contact her about a sapphire ring for our 45 wedding anniversary.

Engagement Ring
Me and my partner got our engagement ring designed by Melissa after my parents also having 4 rings designed by durham rose and I cannot recommend them enough, they have been absolutely perfect and made the process so easy, stress free and exciting! Communication was amazing and I was updated through each and every little step. My engagement ring is made perfectly and is the most beautiful thing I own. We cannot thank Melissa and the team at Durham Rose enough! :)

I was a little nervous ordering my engagement ring online, especially since it's coming from another country. Melissa made the experience so easy. She was quick to respond to all of my emails/questions (there was a lot). She gave me a lot of great ideas and suggestions. The ring turned out beautifully! I was so happy with it that I ordered the wedding band through her. Which involved mailing my engagement ring to the USA location so they could make a mold of it to ensure they fit snugly together. The whole process was actually very quick and easy. I'm in love with the way they turned out! Thank you for all of your help, Melissa! I would recommend Durham Rose for anyone wanting to custom design their ring!
