Shockingly bad after sales service

Everything with ordering and delivery was very fast but trying to return the radiator has been a complete pain.
Customer service is very slow to respond to any enquiry and once they do finally respond the returns process is also slow. You need to send a picture of the item ready to be picked up then wait an additional 21 days from receipt of the good until refund issued apparently. So far since asking to return the item it has been 21 days with no confirmation when I will get my money back! In comparison with other online retailers who normally refund upon receipt this is very very poor. The excuse so far has been that they are busy. I think the next step is report them to trading standards and claim a charge back through the bank.

Great radiator, great service.

Very happy with Ecostrad IQ Ceramic radiator. Completely silent and ideal to top up a back room on chilly days. App is easy to use and allows remote controls and programming. Also very impressed by customer service team. I spoke to Lauren, Grace and Ben and all were helpful and fair. Was a bit wary of buying a radiator online but would do so again and would recommend this company.

Illegal aftercare, no regard for safety

Well, what a poor customer service a truly service that has to be experienced to be believed! This company do everything to get out of their legal responsibility to fulfill a statutory gurantee that ls required by law!! After spending £450 on a radiator it's been replaced within a week as it contained no oil apparently,I was advised to take the 50kg radiator off the wall and fill it with anti freeze from Halfords! Yes thats right a customer to attempt a dangerous repair themselves with a toxic fluid! Lauren was good and finally agreed to replace the item and cover the cost of the electricians bill, which really is the fault of you the retailer. Know 3 months down the line I'm asked by Izzy, a supposed customer service representative who asked for pictures, I sent them, then get on the floor and send a video, I did that, then take more pictures on the floor of the element, at this point I simply refused, I received a reply stating it hasn't been fitted properly, I used a registered electrician and the unit has been working for 3 months, I was asked to spend £100 for a replacement element!! So please don't spend your money with this company, if you do you will need to section 75 it or a small claims which is what I'm up to, this company has serious issues go elsewhere is my advice.

Awful Returns Policy

The customer service is A++.
But, Tech support is patronising and unhelpful.
The returns policy is a joke! You can't return if you've turned it on? Beware of all the small print (Also, buy bigger than their room estimations, the heaters are weaker than most)

two electric radiators failed no refund

two electric radiators Ecostrad iQ Ceramic WiFi controlled have failed in under 3 years (but over 2). Told not repairable and no refund. Over £600 no good in under three years. They have good reviews via Feefo because they only allow you to review 4 weeks after purchase. Strongly recommend not to use this company

We purchased 3 radiators 14 days ago…

We purchased 3 radiators 14 days ago for our mobile home to save some money there was nothing wrong with radiators they just didn’t provide enough heat within the home the consultant assured us the size of the home would match the radiators and be sufficient when I called to request the returns policy I was informed that once the radiators are opened they cannot be returned
I would like to know how can u not try something and if not compatible not return
After this expense this is outrageous

Awful aftercare

Awful aftercare, please avoid this company, ordered a £450 oil filled radiator paid another £200 for installation the radiator doesn't get hot, after 1 week the company are trying to get out of there legal responsibility, make sure if you use these cowboys pay with a credit card and raise a claim, I was offered £30 to help towards a new install, the idiots said we shouldn't of installed it if it was faulty?? How can you tell unless it's wired into the mains? Awful illegal advice being offered here, keep with the recognised companies. I had the following advice from their customer service, "It seems the issue may be related to a low fluid distribution/level in the unit. We would suggest having someone remove the radiator from the wall and give it a swish about, this will make sure all the bars have fluid in them to allow for full heat distribution.

If this doesn't solve the issue, you can also look to top up the unit with the recommended fluid, available at the following link: xxxxxxx

This is dangerous and illegal, advising a customer to swish a 50kg radiator and top up with a toxic substance ?? This is a new product, Will be informing trading standards, and issuing a section 75 chargeback, look it up, these need closing down.

We are very sorry your unit isn't heating as expected and that you haven't found our Customer Support teams advice helpful.

There are a few ways of rectifying this issue, tilting the unit to ensure the the fluid fully dispersed is one, topping up the fluid is another. We aren't able to ship the fluid however, we would reimburse you for this.

If you aren't able to or happy to do either of those, an exchange is always an option.

Ecostrad IQ Ceramic radiators

I recently purchased Ecostrad IQ Ceramic Radiators on the assurance that they provide “an exceptional level of heat retention”. There is also a claim of “up to 40 minutes extra heat after switch off”. Both of these statements are completely untrue in my experience. Please change the advertising. I’m not the only one to comment on this being highly inaccurate. Realistically you might have a little warmth still after 5 minutes but nothing sufficient to notice even if sat right by the radiator.
Then It is then completely cold.

Fantastic service from Lauren! She went the extra mile, after explaining my predicament that I was let down by another supplier on Monday evening, she ensured my order arrived on a pre 10am today (06/11), which has enabled the fitter to install for us. First Rate Service

Our radiator stopped working. One call to customer services resulted in a replacement being delivered within two days! Absolutely first rate service, would thoroughly recommend to anyone.

Terrible shopping and delivery experience

Don't buy radiators through this company. Delivery service has been stressful to deal with and the customer service from both ERD and their delivery service has been appalling. Paid for Saturday delivery, that never came, never got any communication or notifications from the courier service. So had to wait until the following Monday to chase ERD. They then say it's not guaranteed Saturday delivery even though we paid the extra £40 for Saturday delivery. Tried to track the order but the tracking info (which I had to find by logging into my ERD account, don't know why it wasn't on the shipping confirmation email) was incorrect as it wasn't valid on the Palletways website. Received a different tracking number on Monday, yet still wasn't valid. Finally delivered this afternoon, only to be told by the driver that he couldn't get it off the truck, because they were too heavy, as both my orders were wrapped together in plastic. Eventually, after calling his company he got them off individually and said he was only permitted to leave them by the curb as they usually only do commercial deliveries so they are not insured to take anything into people's homes. Which is fine, however ERD should have some kind of disclaimer or warning on their product page or checkout so people are prepared to make suitable arrangements.

I am very sorry you have had a less than desirable experience with us and the 3rd party courier we used for your delivery.

We have refunded you the delivery charge, this was processed as soon as you advised delivery was not completed.

Delivery dates are estimated and cannot be guaranteed due to unforeseeable circumstances in the 3rd party courier system.

We do have disclaimers on the product pages under the delivery information tab advising what a pallet delivery entails.
I apologise if this was not clear.

I hope that the radiators are suitable and you enjoy your purchase.

Couldn’t figure out how I wasn’t connected to the radiator ( my fault ) phoned up and Ben talked me through my problem within seconds. Made what seemed an impossible task very simple! 10/10 for Ben
