Very thorough and carefully crafted summary!

Relatively easy to initiate service and follow instructions for labs. Clinicians notes provide suggestions that help in making decisions. AI chat is helpful by answering specific questions.

The basic concept and service is reasonably good. The biggest issue I have is customer support. There is no number you can call to speak with a human. Their AI chat is useless, as it can't answer anything you couldn't figure out on your own. When it realizes you need an agent, it tells you to go about your day, and they'll answer you. HOWEVER, they don't answer you. Although the service seems legit, it unfortunately feels really shady to have a medical service that has no support. And very frustrating for something akin to concierge medicine. In this case, I'm trying to schedule a test I paid for a few months ago that I don't seem to have access for scheduling. So not getting back to me for something I paid doesn't feel good.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Tried twice to get a
Grail cancer test, but the lab they used did not the right collection tubes. To make matters worse, Function would not send them to me, which would have solved the problem. I’m not using them again.

I feel the business gives me excellent feedback and information with quick and easy access to the help

I love the amount of blood tests I get for my money. The value is amazing. The clinician’s notes are thorough and quick. A lot of extra notes explaining what it all means and the recommendations for diet and supplements are very helpful.

I signed up for Function because my primary care couldn’t order the labs I needed for working with my integrative medicine provider. It gave me more that I was expecting and for a cheaper price! I really appreciated the AI function to develop protocols. I like that there are actions to take, not just results with nothing to do about it.

Just paid the enrollment fee and trying to book the appt has been a nightmare. You cannot change your state/location even if there are no labs available. I have been trying to find someone/anyone to respond to my emails so I can book asap at another location. The chat function is not working on my account - it just says "couldnt send". Phone number is voicemail only. I just want my money back at this point.

Totally changes your health outcomes by providing a real and thorough look at your markers. Now I can take steps toward optimal health rather than guessing at it!

I really liked that this was a personal journey and it was done professionally and I had the opportunity to learn a lot of information about my internal body. I was surprised by some findings and changed my supplements to reflect these deficiencies. I loved the AI chat function. I also like being able to easily share the results with my Dr.

This was totally worth it. It gives you super important data. You wouldn’t normally get with labs at the doctor. Helps you craft a nutrition and supplement plan when you get your results along with next steps for your health.
