I have recommended this to so many people. The cost for the tests and results I received were fantastic. Having access to the clinician report and all my test results, along with explanations is really great. The protocol feature/AI feature can be glitchy but I have not relied on that.

I really like the information I received with the explanation. It is a wonderful service and I am glad we have this option. Very reasonably priced and convient.

I enjoy the prompt AI service however I wanted to confirm a reschedule situation and after several tries I got frustrated and stopped. It's hard not having a real person to talk to.

Using Function Health is highly recommended! Me cardiologist sent me to get bloodwork through Function Health. I was blown away with all of the information you get back from the tests. The testing is extremely detailed. If the test comes back they dig deeper to see where the issue developed. I have given my regular practitioner a printed copy and we sat down and reviewed all of the results. It is something I will use every year. It helped my cardiologist and my practitioner make changes and give me further advice. Fortunately there was no indication of cancer or other issues.

Professional! Convenient! Flexible Scheduling. Excellent clinical notes! After using the service twice, it has been everything it was advertised to provide. I appreciate clear, concise objective data I can analyze with additional insight from the clinical notes. Absolutely recommend for anyone who appreciates seeing all the data and make your own choices to share/consult.

Not worth it. It's a very expensive blood test that most insurances cover with a $20 co-pay. All of the results and protocols created post blood work are AI generated. A doctor never contacts you or discusses your results in a personalized manner. It's all generic responses, they say it's personal but it's AI.

The price is unbeatable with any other comprehensive labs out there. The recommendations are somewhat generic which I understand and I was surprised that recommendations were often based on regular labs not functional levels. They add the functional levels but recommendations were often based on the normal guidelines.

The cost of the labs was reasonable.
Lab results and normal ranges should be summarized for quick reference
Optimal ranges should be provided
Keto and carnivore diet should be considered in the normal and oprimal ranges.

I signed up with Function to save money on labs to start HRT. The process was easy and it was just like going straight to my preferred lab and getting all the same services. Someone from Function even called me to alert me to an elevated level in magnesium. (It's because I eat a lot of whole wheat and beans, so it was not a medical concern.) All in all, a good experience. However, I found out afterward that there's a similar service out there that would have cost me less had I selected just the labs I needed for HRT instead of doing a comprehensive panel through Function.

After you get the knowledge of how things work it sticks with that process very closely. I appreciate the physician writer I received shortly after having my blood taken.

I recommend this service particularly as you begin your older years - say after 65. You will receive so much information to help you live your best life.

When I got to Quest for my follow up blood work, Quest didn't have the order. I texted someone at Function Health & it was taken care of in minutes. (At 7:10 AM!!!!)

Communication was great. The scheduling and follow ups for the testing was timely and seamless. Clinician's notes were insightful and provided helpful information.

I love the explanation of the results and the food and supplication suggestions. However I didn't get any results telling me about my progesterone levels.
But overall I am pleased with the service.

I found Function Health just when I needed it! Their relationship with Quest Diagnostics and the super easy process made my decision a no-brainer. I compared other company's offerings and pricing and picked FH because 100+ markers and Clinician notes for $365 is a very good deal. I was looking at Quest pricing on my own before I found FH and my total was over $800 but didn't come close to 100 markers.
My blood tests results have changed my life. I was using Claude to help me understand why I was feeling as I did when I came across Function Health. Among other things my results showed inflammation and food were problems for me. Tomorrow will be 4 weeks on low histamine foods (and food prep) and the visible change is remarkable! My rosacea has calmed, my digestive system has improved (no bloating, gas). I thought my 4x week salad dinners were healthy. Not so much. Some of the ingredients exacerbated my already inflamed system. I took my 100 marker results to my PCP which resulted in looking deeper into some issues the results found, approval of my food/supplement changes and they wanted to read my Clinician Notes!
Easy access to blood testing and other doctor ordered tests will change the US Healthcare system. Most importantly it will change our lives by empowering us with knowledge to help us make healthy changes and enable us to talk to our doctors on a new level of detail.
