I worked with an adviser called Adam at Just Mortgages in early 2024 and unfortunately my experience wasn’t positive. I had contacted the firm to understand my options about remortgaging or selling, as I needed clear advice around removing my ex-partner from the mortgage.

I found that much of the communication took place by phone without written follow-up, which made it difficult to keep track of where things stood. I also didn’t feel I received clear guidance on the alternatives available to me at a crucial time, and this left me in a very challenging position when my previous mortgage deal came to an end.

I pursued the matter through the Financial Ombudsman Service. Although the Ombudsman ultimately did not uphold the complaint, the situation has continued to cause me stress and financial difficulty, and I personally would have valued clearer advice and more transparent communication from the start.

This review reflects my own experience, and I would encourage others to make sure they request written confirmation of all advice and options when dealing with any mortgage adviser.”

Really poor experience going for just mortgage broker as a first time buyer, I had Neil Waller as the broker and despite being good the first time round- I had a house fall through and needed a new mortgage for the new property I had found and this is where he was extremely unprofessional

I recieved emails with 3 or 4 words back, and a refusal to get on another call or even offer me any suitable times that worked for him. I have had a far better experience going for L&C Mortgages who got the job done within 1 day with no messing about

I was speaking to a guy called Lewis. Very rude, very up himself. Came across like he was trying to bully me into a mortgage. Left after that!

Natalie Croasdale made the process as pain-free as possible, even when the first two houses fell through for different reasons. She managed to negotiate a mortgage for us with ease, even though we are both fully self-employed and thought it would be almost impossible to get approved. HORRIBLE expirience with Neil Pearman. On the day of our first video meeting he was late and he was taking us for other customer Unprepared. He did not know the value of property that was previously provided to him.Advice was given in a rather insulting manner. After checking our income and outgoings it felt like he wanted to get rid of us.Meybe our case was not financially atrractive.This felt rude.Eventually our agreement in principale was approved by one of the banks.Ive asked Neil for a copy of the docuement so I could rewiev the terms and mortgage rate ,to my surprise I was told that lender does not provide mortgage in principale , which was a lie and its a commom knowledge that lenders provide this type of docuements.When I've highlited this point to him his response was that he does not work on Sundays and that he will send our doucmets however it is not worth the paper it is printed on - please see attchaed.After that we had a phone call conversation during the week and Neil was really rude his words were : do you want to go ahead or not !? , also he said that he will be happy not to progess with our case. After this treatment we have decided not go ahead with his services.Dont waste your money and time the whole experience with Neil was horrendous and shocking.
We went directly to the bank ,got mortgage approved without any issues.

Such a friendly chap very easy to talk to and made us feel much more relaxed and confident about the whole process.
Explained everything so we always understood what was happening and what we had to do at every step.
Super helpful and always made us feel reassured and that we were in good hands.

Started the process with Adrian and he made it all seem very relaxed and had great knowledge, happy to leave him in control and me just save the deposit and look at houses.

We’ve just started the process with Ameliah, and she’s been amazing so far! Super friendly, approachable, and really easy to talk to. She makes everything feel less stressful and explains things clearly. Excited to continue working with her!

Andrew was very knowledgeable and gave us a range of options to choose from, explaining the pros/cons of each. He was always available to answer questions and responded to our email very quickly every time. We would highly recommend Andrew - also very friendly!

Andrew quite literally went above and beyond to guide and support us, we were able to choose who we borrowed from and the paperwork/finalisation etc was all 2 days off being completed when our relationship took a turn for the worse, due to the previous ERC being so high and now wanting to sell the house this would take a chunk of money from us, Andrew supported us in the sense that he stopped the other mortgage and found us another suitable mortgage which would be good for us until the house comes up for sale on the market.
Andrew did all the research to find what was beat for us, he went above and beyond and kept it person centered the whole way!
