I booked a service on a Friday for that Sunday, they sent a text to confirm that I was all set. Sunday comes and they no show without any kind of call that they were not coming. The next day they called and sent a text asking me to reschedule without any kind of apology or acknowledgment that they ghosted me. Although I'm very disappointment, looking at some of these other reviews of how they overcharge and mislead with their prices, maybe they did me a favor.

1- guy shows up and tries to sell me a 900$ duct cleaning
2- charges me for replacing the hose but only taped it
3- dryer now not working
4- call to have someone come back- scheduled with their service (computer system) and no one showed up

Classic bait and switch. No official work van/truck no uniform. Quoted for 79 but end up paying 149.

advertised $79 cleaning on Instagram -- booked them to only have them come over and ask for $175 for a basic clean. refused to acknowledge their offer, which shows up even now if you search on Google for their company. Complete fraud. When I pointed out the ad, they just huffed and left.

I scheduled what was advertised as a $79 service with this company, but was hit with a sudden quote of over $400, cash only, and left with dirty vents, no receipt, and poor follow-up. Their behavior felt deceptive and unprofessional.

This company does not keep their promises and warranty. We told the technician that the laundry room is on the second floor. He told us they will be able to clean the dryers vents without a problem. That’s was a lie. The technician made the issue worse than before.
We called and talk to the supervisor, and they refused to keep the promise if we are not satisfied they will come out and fix the issue. Please stay away from Master Air Duct. The supervisor does not listen to the customer, he said the technician is right all the time.

I strongly advise others to be cautious when dealing with this company. I scheduled a routine chimney cleaning and inspection, which took no more than 15 minutes to complete. However, I was shocked when I received a bill for $1,200 far above any reasonable rate for this type of service.

In my opinion, this represents deceptive and unethical business practices. Despite multiple attempts to contact the company, the supervisor has not responded to my complaints or my requests for an itemized invoice, a review of the technician’s work, or a refund.

I recommend getting a written estimate in advance and comparing quotes from other providers before agreeing to any services with this company.

This company completely avoided accountability after performing an unsafe, incomplete job. They sent an unqualified technician who admitted he wasn’t licensed to work on gas heaters, yet he proceeded to do so anyway. He failed to contain dust during the cleaning, spreading a thick layer of debris throughout my entire apartment.

Since then, I’ve made multiple attempts to contact them. They repeatedly claimed a manager would call me back — but when I finally reached the manager (Dania), she blocked my number after a single call.

At this point, it’s unclear if this is even a legitimate business. The lack of professionalism, transparency, and basic customer care is alarming. Avoid at all costs.

The technician was professional and helpful. The price was higher than expected but the ducts were cleaned well. They also fixed my gas fireplace and they were willing to come back a few days later to ensure it was working correctly after an electrical change.

Booked a dryer vent cleaning on a deal for dryer vent cleaning for $79. The technician came out and wanted $250 for "extensive" cleaning. I refused and told him to go ahead and do the cleaning according to the advertised deal. He said ok and it will onlt 4-10 min cleaning. Not sure exactly what he did, since I was not there and the tenants were. I think this company is a bad deal and made mis-leading advertising and then try to upsell. Will have to wait for the tenants to tell me what he did clean and if it made any difference from before.

If I could give 0 stars I would … I’m so annoyed I never read the reviews. MISLEADING !!! Their $99 deal to clean ducts is for returns only and they never cleaned supply’s (which other companies are doing) so now I have to pay someone else to come out to do entire cleaning. On their website it clearly shows them cleaning the supply’s in the picture and only the machine was used. Not as bad as other reviews. Shame because the actual technician was a good guy (seems I got luck on that front from reviews below) but the company it’s self is misleading and gave me bs excuses why they only do half a job…..

I called to ask about air duct cleaning and the person was so rude and hang up on my face when I ask if they had at least a base for the estimate. Absolutely ridiculous

STOP, don’t even consider calling or scheduling this company. Should be minus 1 star.
Quoted me $78 for dryer vent cleaning and when the tech showed up, he quoted $255.
Cleaned the air duct but completely damaged the dryer vent pipe crushing it against the wall. Lint all over the house, rug by the front door dirty & filthy from tech running inside to outside. Found that they sub out this job to a company called David Consulting.
I had to call an appliance company to come out and repair the damages which cost $138.
Called Master Air Duct 5 days in a row requesting manager or supervisor come
to my house to inspect damage and told they would address my complaint asap.
Never got one call back, not one response.
Hard to believe this company is still in business or investigated by the BBB!

This company and their technician Oren are a scam. I was sent two technicians (now the company is denying they sent two). I filled out their online form to request service. $149 for both the dryer vent cleaning and Air Duct Cleaning. I only contacted this one company. The 1st technician called and said he would be at my house to start the work between the appointment times given. I then received a call from a 2nd technician who also said he would be there between the appointment times. I figured they worked together on the jobs (1 for the dryer vent an 1 for the Air Ducts) the 1st tech showed up and started working on the dryer. The 2nd tech showed up and both the technicians acted like they didn't know each other. The 1st tech asked if I had contacted more than one company, I said no. Then the two techs went outside and came back and stated it was all worked out and I get both of them working on my vent/ducts. The original price quickly turned into $3320 after "" THEY found black mold. Talked me into spray painting my Air vents. One of which they did not even tape around and I now have white paint on my wood panelling. Upsold me a UV light for my furnace closet. When Oren installed my UV light, he unplugged the condensation pump to my HVAC unit and did not plug it back it and did not make mention to me that he unplugged it. By the following day my bedroom had started flooding due to the condensation pump being disconnected and not reconnected. I now have water damage to my walls and carpet in my bedroom. When I contacted the company to get this resolved, I called for a couple of weeks and was always told that the manager or supervisor would call me. The last phone call I made to them, I was told that Oren had showed up at my house and found another tech there and therefore cancelled the work order through master air ducts. When I started questioning her more and more and arguing with her more and more, she hung up on me after I asked for the masiling address of the company. I am slightly disabled right now due to two falls and in severe pain, had I been more on my game that weekend, they would not have gotten away with taking advantage of me. I suppose it is a case of buyer beware as I will probably never see the money out of what they did. But I have reported them to the California State Contractors Board and will be sending them full details of what happened.

Very, very disappointed in the service I received followed by the unprofessionalism in this company. Stay away from them!!! My new dryer has not been working so I had the manufacturer come out and look at it, they told me my ducts needed to be clean. I had a tech from Master Air Ducts come out, he cleaned the vent from inside my house installed something to make the duct stronger and replaced the duct hose, all of this costing >$1000 which I paid because I was desperate to resolve the issue, which the tech assured me it would. When my dryer still wasn’t working I had the manufacturer come out and look at it again who told me the pressure in the ducts is now worse. The tech from Master Air Dict didn’t even bother to measure the vent pressure after cleaning the vent, otherwise he would have seen that the issue was not resolved. I requested for Master Air Duct to send a different tech to give me a second opinion. When the original tech found out, he sent me texts and called me saying that I’m wrong and the dryer is the issue and not to have another tech come out, he also said that it’s probably the lint trap. A new tech found there was no airflow in the outside duct, the vent inside the ceiling was disconnected. They were charging me $3000 to repair this on top of the $1000. I had to push to get a discount, but did not move forward with the service because of the distrust I now have with the company I wanted a second opinion. I called several other companies who were outraged at the price and said this is way overpriced. I have been calling for over 2 weeks now requesting to speak with a manager about a refund, every time I call they tell me they can’t transfer me and a manager will call me right back, but they don’t. I am outraged and extremely frustrated with this service I received and the lack of client care. Stay away from Master Air Duct unless you want to spend thousands of dollars to have a worse issue.

We had a horrible experience with this company, and the issue has not even been resolved yet. The workers came in, not introducing who they are, no uniforms, no identification. Left their shoes on with no shoe covers. Cleaned our ducts, but broke all of the seven duct vents in our house. They did not communicate about pricing, and we were stuck with a $1200 bill at the end of the service, with no explanation. Of course, we understand that multiple vents raise the price, but this should have been explained before the service began.
We have called customer service numerous times and written emails, explaining to them that they damaged our ducts. We included pictures. We had to have a handyman come and repair all the ducts for several hundred dollars. We asked to speak to the manager and the manager never called. We asked again, no answer from the manager. This is a shell company. Do not make the mistake we made. Do not use them. We will also be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.

I had them out for a simple dryer vent cleaning (maybe a $150 job, tops). The quote? $690. When I asked how they came up with that number, the technician suddenly developed amnesia - no explanation, no call to “the office,” and no transparency.

When I declined and asked them to at least reconnect the dryer, they hopped in their truck, peeled out of my driveway, and nearly hit me on the way out, apparently rushing off to their next “surprise” pricing appointment.

In short:

Avoid at all costs, unless you’re in the market for both sticker shock and an adrenaline rush in your own driveway.

AWFUL! Don't call these people. I arranged to have a dryer vent on the roof of my 2-story home cleaned. They scheduled me for a Sunday. When the technician called to let me know he was on he way, I asked if he had a ladder and he said he did not (so how was he planning to do the job?). Then someone else showed up at my door (also without a ladder), misidentified the vent, told me he might return the next day and left. Five minutes later he was at my door asking for jumper cables. They rescheduled for Thursday (I never heard back about someone returning the next day). Fortunately, I found a competent person to take care of this before Thursday. When I called to cancel, some Life-Alert salesperson came on the line and refused to stop pitching the product even after I said I wasn't interested. I called back again, listened to their muzac for a few minutes and then left a message. Unprepared, obnoxious, and incompetent.

DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY. The tech came. Didn’t wear his gloves and somehow cut his hand. I helped him with some bandages and said he was ok to continue to working.

He was not communicating with me much and just seemed very aloof.

He proceeded to continue to use his tools again got the cleaning tool stuck in my duct and now I have to call a construction company to knock down my wall so the can remove his tool the lost in the duct. It has been a COMPLETE NIGHTMARE and they said they best they can do is refund the amount of the inspection. HOW DO YOU ABANDON your work tool??? DO NOT have Zeek aka Ziv perform work.

Had my dryer and vent cleaned today, & wanted to report on the experience-first my appointment was scheduled from 12-2p got a call saying they won’t be here until 4p-6p due an issue with their vehicle then didn’t get a call for arrival till 5:53p saying they would be here in 20min which turned into over that-
Guys weren’t even here for a half hour cleaned the dryer and vent and charged me $229-definitely a rushed job-only offered Zelle, card or cash payment in which I had to run and get cash as I don’t have Zelle and wasn’t paying a 3.5% charge on the card-needless to say I won’t be using your service again-absolutely ridiculous in price for a simple clean out of a vent/dryer that wasn’t bad by all means-awful!
