I called this company because they were running an air duct service discount quote for standard duct cleaning. The guy came in a regular SUV and brought out this large suction machine and asked me how many returns did I have and I showed him the one return. He hooked the machine up to the return and suctioned. After, he showed me what he said came out of my system and asked me when was the last time I had my ducts cleaned. I told him that it was 3 years ago right before I had some remodeling work done on my 3 bathrooms (that’s why I assume it was so much dust on his machine when he suctioned the system). He asked me how many vents did I have upstairs and I said 12. I walked with him as he removed the vent and inspected the inside and he showed me some areas that he said was white mold and one area he said was black mold and rust. Me being a woman didn’t think twice about it. After, he quoted me a price of $89 per vent to get the areas treated. I assumed that he knew what he was talking about but I told him that the price was over $1000 and that I did have that much. He said would call his supervisor to see if it was any way they could lower the price. He stepped outside and called someone. When he returned he said his supervisor stated that they would give a discount and only charge $1000 if it was paid in cash. Again, I am a single woman with no knowledge of vent cleaning/mold. I just assumed what he showed me was mold and agreed to have the treatment done. (3 years ago when I had a company to clean my ducts it cost me $496) He told me that no one could be upstairs while he was treating the vents and that the system had to stay turned off for at least an hour after. After an hour, I was told to turn the unit back on for at least 20 minutes with the windows and doors open ( whatever chemical he sprayed had a strong odor). I left the house after he said that he was done (I was gone a little over 2 hours). When I returned home, something made me check the vents and I noticed that the vents looked like they were sparkling clean. Later, I just start googling vent cleaning treatments, trying to see what he could have maybe used that has a strong chemical smell and what may have been sprayed to make the ducts look so clean. I came across nothing so to end this long letter, I realized that I had been scammed. I have called the company multiple times to inquire about the chemical that was used and every time they tell me that they will have the technician to call me. That was over a week ago and I still have not received a return call. Please do your homework before deciding to use this or any other companies to clean/treat your ducts!!!

DID NOT CLEAR VENT I called for the $79 dryer vent cleaning. When they arrived they checked the vent and said it would need a deep clean for $250. If we paid cash they would not charge any sales tax. He proceeded to blow the duct from inside my laundry room to outside . He caused an incredible amount of dust and took no care or precautions to limit the mess. They left a mess inside and out. Didn’t even clean up large particles. I called the following week because the dryer wasn’t drying. He blew and vacuumed again, when he was finished I showed him the vent flaps were not opening at all, less air moving than before. He told me it was my dryer and to call a repairman. I paid additional 210 to have a dryer repairman tell me the duck was blocked with lint.

This was a scam. I scheduled a dryer vent cleaning at the advertised price ($79). The tech was almost two hours late and he insisted -- because he had to move our "heavy dryer" (which is just a standard front loader - and which our adult son offered to help him move) that he needed to do more and the cost was $349. I refused to pay that higher price and I asked him to leave our home because I felt he was trying to scam us. I would be very careful dealing with this vendor.

I booked because the website said $79 dryer vent cleaning. When the tech came, he was in what looked like a personal van with no company name on it. After looking at the vent, then checking air flow on the roof where its vented, I was told the air flow wasn't good and it would be $350! Not my fault that vent is on the roof! How was I to know if the air flow really was poor? My husband offered a less amount to do the cleaning and the tech agreed to it. Then there's a fee if you use credit card and a place for a tip!!

This is the most unprofessional and shady company I have ever worked with. Their $99 special turned into a $1700 quote. The technician came out and was unable to put our vents back in place (5 ceiling vents), he broke the molding to our attic entry and left a mess in every room. He had 2 shop vacs with him and didn’t vacuum up any of the dust or plaster from breaking the trim. Thankfully we had only given a deposit. We now have 5 ceiling vents that need to be repaired by another company. Also, very important to note, they do not have anything with their company name on it, when speaking with their customer service #, they could not produce an address of any offices even though they said they had one in our town. DO NOT USE this company. It’s a scam! I wish I had read these reviews before contacting them.

This is a fake company - the website, reviews, even the business address is fake. I filled out the online appointment form, and a man showed up and tried to charge me $2,000 for what was listed as $99 online. He negotiated the price down to $700 and I became uncomfortable and told him I’d like to get bids from other companies. He also could not produce a business card when asked nor could he tell me the name of his company when asked. I had to ask him to leave multiple times and he didn’t leave until I literally sternly said, “Get out of my house!”.

What a joke. Quoted $79 on phone and then showed up and said since it was two story house it would be $499 for a deep clean. I said my home is single story and he laughed and said, “Yeah sure”. At this point I told the scammer to leave my house. This is the classic bait and switch. Avoid at all cost. No professional truck, no uniforms.

We made an appointment with Master Air Duct based on their positive reviews and proximity to our home. They were quick to schedule an appointment and had good communication. There are two reasons for the lower review. One is that we were told it would be $79 for the dryer vent cleaning, but the technician informed us it would be $249 for a deep clean due to the amount of lint. This may be completely normal as an up charge based on how much lint was built up, but we were not expecting the significant price jump. The second reason is that when the technician left, he emptied out his vacuum into the grass next to his truck before driving away. We had to go out to clean up the mess that he left. We were shocked that he did this and are assuming (and hoping) that this is not a typical practice.

Very expensive. Poor quality. Tried hard to upsell me and left quickly. No way that service was worth $500.

SCAM. BAIT AND SWITCH. They came out and the price went from $79 to $150. After he was done, my dryer was dented and my dryer vent was still 80% blocked as noted on my dryer sensor. Called again and asked for someone else. Again, price quote was $79. When the technician arrived, he said it would cost $250. AVOID THIS COMPANY.

They claim to have a 4.9 on google but I can’t even find their google reviews. I called them about a duct cleaning, to my surprise they offered a weekend spot only a few days away. The day of I’m surprised to see a guy roll up in a regular car. I invite him inside and he asks to see the main duct, I show him it and immediately I can tell there’s a problem. He brings the negative pressure machine in and the part that fits over the vent is the wrong size. Instead of saying so he says he’s missing the stand for it and will just a vacuum instead. The entire service was him walking around to the vents with an air compressor, shooting some air inside and holding up the vacuum. I called the company and asked if this was typical and they assured me it was. Never in my life have I heard of a duct cleaning being done this way. Very unprofessional.

I hired this company to clean my dryer vents for an advertised rate of $79. When the workers arrived, they said that they needed to get a new dryer hose which would be an additional charge and that they needed to remediate water in the vent (no numbers were given). I said ok, with the understanding that there would be some sort of additional charge. At the conclusion of the service, I was given a bill for over $3,700. I've called multiple times since, and was told that it is company policy to give estimates before the service is completed. I assured them that was not done in this case, and I would have never proceeded had I known this was the cost. I keep getting told that someone will call me back, but it's been weeks and nothing has been done. Do not use this company...

Scam - bait and switch. Quoted one price and then said the air ducts were too clogged and it would be a different price, a price triple the initial quote. We shouldn't have proceeded with the half-attempted clean job done.
