Placed an order 2 weeks ago, remington uk has deducted the money from my account but have not dispatched my item yet. I have tried to contact them via online form, email, facebook and Instagram as there phonelines have been taken down and they have ignored every message but can still continue to post online. This is classed as stealing and I will be taking this further going with the reviews I have read looks like there are a good few people in the same position... SCAMMERS!! AVOID DO NOT BUY FROM HERE

The most ignorant dysfunctional company I have ever dealt with. They have taken my money and not even dispatched the order. The item was ordered 8 days ago and I can't even get a reply from them. Contacted them through facebook after 4 hours I got a message asking for my email? gave them it and heard nothing since.
Going to attempt a chargeback on this shower of ignorant sh**s. Never order from this company if you have any sense.
Beard trimmer breakdown within Warranty period but help refused.
My Remington beard trimmer came with a 3-year warranty, but after barely 2 years the battery went flat and would not recharge. I was taken "round the houses" by Remington staff who refused to honour their Warranty, kept asking for non-existent details off the device, and eventually told me that they do not replace faulty batteries in any case, even within the Warranty period. I now have to buy a new device, and it certainly won't be a Remington.

My shaver went wrong and I knew I had registered for an extended warranty but it didnt say this on the receipt.
I needed to take it back to Argos but how to prove it was still in warranty.
I have an online account but that doesnt show anyrhing. All i have is an email with a reference but doesnt say which product it refers to.
Their customer service doesnt answer emails and the facebook messenger who do answer only deal with the US. They just send a link to the UK customer service.
I wont be buying Remington again unless they come back to me soon.

Ho acquistato un asciugacapelli e ancora in garanzia si è rotto un interruttore. Mi hanno mandato un etichetta per poterlo rispedire alla casa madre e, dopo aver valutato il tipo di difetto, me l’hanno sostituito con uno identico ma nuovo. Questa è serietà e competenza. Grazie

Well, where to start, firstly, i won the Remington ceramic gift set in a charity raffle and i thought my luck was in, well I should have just bought some chewing gum, threw it in my hair and then just pulled it out by hand !.
The shaver worked like a dream for half my head but then made a funny little noise and that was it, all it done then was pull out the hair very painfully, so out came my trusty WAHL, 10 years old easy and still going.
I then emailed Remington, telling them of my trouble and I didn't even merrit a reply !
So good I bought the company my a*se !
Stay clear if your thinking about a fathers day present, your dad will thank you for it.

I purchased a new hair straighteners for my Salon to use on very difficult to straight hair types , I’m very impressed how hot and quick and stable they were , very good price and they give a long warranty

Brilliant! My shaver developed a fault within the warranty period. Sorted and replaced within 3 days. Couldn't ask for more! More companies need to take a leaf from their book. Quick, easy and hassle free.
BUILT IN OBSOLESCENCE
BUILT IN OBSOLESCENCE - I have a Remmington R6130. Designed to fail after 3 years no matter how you look after it. The recargeable batteries have a short life, and it doesn't seem to matter wether you use it or not. I rarely used it.
What I find particularly cynical, is the way you can't replace the batteries.
Never again Remmington.
I have a Remington groom kit
I have a Remington groom kit. Great piece of kit. However a bit of the micro foil shaving head broke leaving a hole in the micro foil. Called Remington and since they didn't do spare parts for that model shaver, they sent me out a whole new groom kit! Customer service were friendly and helpful.
Remington HC-5950
Som jeg kan se at mange andre også har oplevet, så slukker min også mens man klipper/trimmer. Har skrevet mail til Remington, men de gider ikke at svare. Det er rigtig dårlig stil og jeg er færdig med at købe deres produkter.

Jeg købte en HC-5950 hårtrimmer fordi, den havde fået gode anmeldelser. Efter få måneder begyndte den at stoppe imens man klippede. Ud over at det er ubehageligt når den stopper (og dermed sidder fast i håret), er det også vildt irriterende konstant at skulle være klar på tænd knappen. Nu klipper den i 3 sekunder ad gangen. Batteriet er helt opladet, og maskinen er helt renset. Nogle gange, når man har lagt den fra sig, ligger den og justerer klippelængden af sig selv. Jeg kan virkelig ikke anbefale dette produkt. Den er lige til skraldespanden, og jeg er nu på udkig efter en ny hårtrimmer, som ikke er lavet af Remington.
Elendig hårtrimmer
Købte en Remington HC-5950 hårtrimmer i den tro, at der her var tale om et gedigent og professionelt produkt. Allerede efter få måneders brug begyndte maskinen at "skrante". Motoren sætter jævnligt ud under brug, selvom den er fuldt opladet. Ikke meget Pro Power over den!
Det trykfølsomme display (Touch Control), som skal bruges til at regulere de medfølgende længdekamme er en totalt ommer!!! Adskillige gange har jeg stået og ventet forgæves på, at maskinen ville reagere på mit "touch" - men der sker bare INTET!!!
Det er IKKE så banebrydende en nyhed når det ikke fungerer!
Kan derfor ikke anbefale nogen at købe dette produkt!!!
PS. Har taget konsekvensen og købt en Panasonic hårtrimmer, som vist går for at levere noget mere pålideligt udstyr.

Som overskriften antyder, har jeg ikke været videre heldig med min Remington HC 5150 hårklipper. Indenfor de første 3 mdr. har den allerede fået en defekt. D.v.s at en tand er knækket af den ene kam/ afstandsstykke. Jeg har naturligvis kontaktet sælger, som i dette tilfælde er "Postme.com" som i første omgang tilbød en brugt kam som erstatning. Dette er klart nok IKKE i orden, hvorfor jeg takkede NEJ TAK, og slog på reklamation og garanti bestemmelserne. Dette fik sælgers dårligste karakter træk frem, og jeg blev nærmest truet med de groveste og mest urimelige betingelser. Jeg mener absolut IKKE, at dette er en fair måde at behandle sine kunder. Jeg mener, jeg skal jo bare bruge en ny kam/ afstandsstykke til min ellers udmærkede hårklipper. Har tilmed forsøgt at råbe nogen op hos "Remington.dk", dog uden held. Jeg vil derfor fraråde enhver at købe et Remington produkt og i stedet opfordre til et noget mere sikkert varemærke. Er ret sikker på, at dette aldrig var sket, hvis jeg fra starten havde valgt en OBH. Men det er så nemt at være bagklog.
