James was incredibly helpful from the start of the whole process and easy to talk to without feeling confused! The survey that was carried out was extremely thorough; with images and clear breakdowns of each area surveyed and the best next steps to take. Which has significantly helped with the buying process. As well as working out where to start in the renovation process as first time buyers. We would highly recommend him to any homebuyers.

Very thorough survey; great service

James was very helpful and efficient. He booked and completed our homebuyers survey within the week of us paying our invoice and sent over a very comprehensive report. He was also very helpful in answering questions we had about the value of the property and queries within the report. We will definitely be using Stonehill Surveyors in the future!

Competent, friendly and helpful service

Stonehill surveyors was referred to me by my solicitor. I asked for a quote for a level 3 building survey late in the evening and I got an answer in the morning of the next day. After accepting the quote, I was always updated by James Scott regarding when the survey would be conducted and when I would receive the report. The report was very easy to understand even for a lay person like me. The descriptions were accompanied with several photos. I would 100% recommend Stonehill surveyors!

James at Stonehill was incredibly helpful. He answered all our questions about which survey to have for a Victorian terrace. The survey was booked in very quickly and the report delivered only 5 days later.

Excellent service and communications

We were really pleased with our survey. James took his time while examining every aspect of the property and he was more than happy to answer our questions. As expected, the subsequent written report was extremely professional. It was clearly written, tailored to our house, and offered plenty of detail (including useful high resolution photographs). James also turned around the report the following day, which was terrific. We would highly recommend James as an expert and friendly local surveyor who is also very good value.

James and his team were excellent, fast turn around and which great report provided.

The report was with me within a couple of days, and surprised me with the attention to detail given to the assessment.
Most importantly, the report highlighted several serious defects I had not been aware of, and affected our decision on the purchase.

Great because it was very easy to speak to James directly and because he was able to juggle his workload to fit the survey in quickly.Very detailed survey, easy to understand.
One minus point though..survey introduction was wrong in that the flat does not have central heating with radiators.
