Ordered material which was required urgently, April in sales checked to ensure goods were deffo in stock and shipped same day DHL ecommerce then proceeded to hold on to parcel for 3 x days at a local depot despite numerous attempts to contact them,issue was eventually sorted due to diligence and excellent customer service shown by April in sales to "own the problem" a rare commodity these days

Refused to issued a refund for a product that had not even been taken from the box, as we could see the colour choice was incorrect. Never have I received such terrible customer service.

Needed some lights and found some here for half of what my local wholesaler charged me.

Delivery came next day too. Happy with the service.

I accidentally ordered double the number of smoke alarms I needed. Called up the next morning and Jennifer helped update the order and still got it out for delivery the next day.

I ordered a lamp with shade. Delivery was speedy but delivery company didn’t deliver the shade. I contacted electrical wholesalers 4 you at 5 pm to complain. The lady on the phone was very nice and the shade was promptly delivered the following day.
I was a little concerned after reading reviews, but in my experience their customer service was excellent and at a price that was almost half the cost of other retailers for the exact same lamp, I am impressed and would recommend them.

This is my second time purchasing the Fusebox EV32AXBD 32A Type A (RCBO) EV Charger Distribution Board from ElectricalWholesalers4U.com, and once again, everything was flawless. The product arrived extremely quickly, exactly as promised, and in perfect condition. No issues whatsoever.

We used this board for a project at bhpmaintenance.co.uk, and it performed exactly as required—reliable, well-built, and up to spec. Highly recommended for any EV installation projects.

Great to see a supplier delivering both quality and speed consistently. Will definitely be back for more!

Absolutely shite service. Just about to order £2500 of down lights and the ignorant non interested women you’ve got answering you’re phone at 15:15 on the 29/04/25 was f all help. I’ll go to Direct trade supplies

Outstanding service had items delivered within 3 days and the smoke alarms and heat sensor came well wrapped . Excellent price and I was able to replace the old alarms without replacing the electrical base plate😁

To echo other comments, I was a bit alarmed by some of the reviews on here but my own experience has been entirely positive. Order placed late on the Tuesday and goods arrived on Friday. Perfectly acceptable expiry dates (smoke alarms) and a very good price. No complaints. Did decline the invitation to download yet another app I don't need from "Shop" though.

Having read some of the reviews on TrustPilot, I was a little sceptical about ordering. Called their 0330 555 0160 contact number to check stock levels then ordered online. Easy ordering process, items in stock (not available elsewhere), great price, advised on despatch, delivery, and DPD delivered on time; next working day. Products were great and exactly as ordered. Will order from them again and found the whole process faultless.

Lights provided were absolute rubbish!!! They both were outside sensor lights. Simply didn't do what was on the tin. They are now being discontinued, and not before time.

Light fitting arrived on time and in good condition. Bulbs arrived later but within a few days . No problems at all

I am writing this review to share a highly disappointing experience with ElectricalWholesale4U that highlights a serious lack of customer care and flexibility.

Our return request was declined based on a rigid 14-day policy, backed by the claim that “the system locks the order.” This explanation was both inadequate and, frankly, unacceptable—prioritising internal systems over customer needs. Such inflexibility disregards any extenuating circumstances and shows a complete lack of customer empathy.

As a business, we value transparent and cooperative supplier relationships. Unfortunately, ElectricalWholesale4U’s handling of our case—despite being new clients making significant purchases—demonstrated no consideration or willingness to support us. Our request was refused even though project delays outside our control, clearly communicated to them, were the cause of our late return.

The impersonal and anonymous nature of the communication added to the dissatisfaction, making it clear that customer support is not a priority. Experiences like this push clients away, as we look for reliable and customer-focused partners—not robotic responses and rigid, inflexible policies. This has eroded our trust and cemented our decision to take our business elsewhere.

I hope this review prompts ElectricalWholesale4U to reconsider their approach to customer service and policy enforcement before more clients walk away.
