I am writing this review to share a highly disappointing experience with ElectricalWholesale4U that highlights a serious lack of customer care and flexibility.

Our return request was declined based on a rigid 14-day policy, backed by the claim that “the system locks the order.” This explanation was both inadequate and, frankly, unacceptable—prioritising internal systems over customer needs. Such inflexibility disregards any extenuating circumstances and shows a complete lack of customer empathy.

As a business, we value transparent and cooperative supplier relationships. Unfortunately, ElectricalWholesale4U’s handling of our case—despite being new clients making significant purchases—demonstrated no consideration or willingness to support us. Our request was refused even though project delays outside our control, clearly communicated to them, were the cause of our late return.

The impersonal and anonymous nature of the communication added to the dissatisfaction, making it clear that customer support is not a priority. Experiences like this push clients away, as we look for reliable and customer-focused partners—not robotic responses and rigid, inflexible policies. This has eroded our trust and cemented our decision to take our business elsewhere.

I hope this review prompts ElectricalWholesale4U to reconsider their approach to customer service and policy enforcement before more clients walk away.

Bought 2 beautiful lamps, one floor/standing lamp and a matching table lamp. Both are really great quality and delivery was quick and painless. I had already seen the very same lamps in a well known furniture store, but these were much cheaper. Thank you

My electricial items never arrived for wiring our extension when promised
Promised update emails when arriving never came
Delivery now weeks ahead but I had to phone to find this out!!
So I had to cancel my order, delay my electricians and find another supplier

I absolutely cannot recommend this company. There is no possibility of returning goods that are misleading. I ordered a 4-core 1mm 50m cable but received a different product. I couldn't verify my order; the product photos matched what I was looking for, but unfortunately, I received a different product that is "cut and cannot be returned." I'm at a loss for words. I do not recommend this company! Never again…

Just purchased a fusebox DB & rcbos spot on goods and price supper fast delivery

Avoid.. scammers. No stock and No refund. Providing fake tracking numbers. Waiting 1 week and chasing everyday. Same story it is on the way….

Ordered a part it was the wrong one so sent it back and paid for the right one they received my order back 6 days ago and still waiting on the part. There is a reason they are cheap won’t be using them again awful! AVOID

EV Charger supplied was faulty. Manufacturer provided a returns authorisation reference, then EW4U arranged to collect the item - we purchased the same item again to save time and the cost of the electrician removing and installing the new one.

Right up until they got the item back they were great. Once it was back they refused to process the refund and kept making excuses to return my money.

Having to go through credit card, and even then they are providing false information and incomplete information.

Disgraceful company.

I never trusted getting a light online as I’d rather get it from store no matter how expensive. I just wanted to be sure of what I was getting but my schedules were just so tight and I had to take the risk and get my lights for my new house from them. Voila! It came well packaged and just as I had seen on the website. Just a perfect fit for my new abode!

Very good selection of items and products available, I’ve been renovating my house and I’ve been able to get nearly everything electrical I needed for this. I’ve always just given the customer service number a call if I had any worries about stock levels, and the guys down in sales were so helpful in explaining differences in things. The next day delivery was so useful as well, because I’m usually quite forgetful.

Cheap = yes. that's where the greatness ends with these jokers. No hint of customer service, next day took 13 days, no explanation until I called them, no emails saying 'sorry your order is delayed'. So simple to fix these things if they cared.

I was a little nervous from reading some reviews but the price for the items I ordered was very competitive. I placed my order on Sunday. Items arrived two days later. Well packaged. I will definitely use this site again.

Never again, avoid
They’re really quick to take your money, but when it comes to get a refund, different story. Spend your money else where

I placed an order for some lights. I accidentally put the wrong shipping address as it needed to go direct to a customer. I called up and they were very helpful. They changed the address for me over the phone. We received the lights next day. Very happy with the service provided!

2 weeks wasted waiting for and trying to reorganise, a delivery which was not only not 'fast' but was never even attempted at all.
This may be the fault of DPD (who are also rubbish).. but Electricalwholsalers4u did nothing 4me about DPD's lies (despite me providing proof of no delivery attempt) - until it was too late.
AVOID - unless your idea of FAST delivery is NO delivery.

Yes, indeed, I wholeheartedly agree with all the bad reviews of this company. I ordered (and paid for) some simple bezels, 5 weeks ago. Repeated emails have received no response and I continue to wait. I have asked for my money back. I live in hope! Clearly this company is either very unprofessional and discourteous - or perhaps it’s gone out of business.

Not Happy!!!
I placed an order 3 weeks ago, to date hasn’t arrived and no refund has been given. I’m being told DPD has delivered it, when I was 6 hours away from home on a medical appointment with my children and husband. I even have proof of hotel and medical appointment( which I shouldn’t even have to disclose or explain myself) they are saying I signed for it- failing to provide me with proof cos I will be getting them done for fraud. No delivery was left / delivered and they are refusing to give me my money back! Absolute thieves … will be taking this further. Avoid this company ! Terrible customer care.
