Peabody are a joke they don’t care about their tenants they only care about getting their rent thy don’t care about what we have to deal with living in their properties they allow people to get away with asb and do whatever they want but when I ask for help sorry we can’t help you disgusting
its almost impossible to get a response from this company via the form method "30 working days"
Still waiting for someone to get back to me. Been a week plus a referral was sent from my social subscriber too

I been with Peabody for 32 years, in the beginning first 15 years I would say was good housing association then from there it all fell apart, they decided even merge other housings and seems they can’t even deal with there own tenants. If I could move to another better HA then we would, we are on transfer list and been over a year and still waiting, places we saw what even worst where we are, seems the people who show you around for viewing, couldn’t careless, or even you show ie has there been a leak there? Oh oh they will fix and cover it, it be fine? I laugh at her I said would you like to live like this in your own home? Of course, no comment to that.
Where we living numerous of times year after year we had to take them to court, and again of course problem comes back. Mould,leak, list goes on. Also they send
INCOMPETENCE CONTRACTORS!!!! they don’t even know why there here?! and of course they love taking pictures after picture you can open a gallery at the end of it and sell it. ( laughing my stomach is aching)
If your reading this as tenant take them to court no win no fee, DONT STOP PAYING RENT AS YOUR WORST OFF IN COURT. a friend has been there and did this before) wasn’t on there favour from the court. I mean don’t we all just want to live a place that has no mould,leak,infestations and so on.

If this were a private building, the managing agent as well as the leaseholders would have taken faster and appropriate action. Peabody seems to think that they are above the law here, and this would be a mistake as this is not the case legallly or morally.
Though I did not know what to expect at the time of writing, my queries were addressed to the best of my knowledge. Thanks
Tenants cannot contact their Neighbourhood Manager. Used the online contact form, a week later, still waiting for an acknowledgment!

Slow action and incomplete response to the concerns raised.
Completely useless homeownership team. It has been 1 yeae since I purchased my property and 10+ emails, 1 official complaint that Peabody responded to admitting fault and offering me cash and they still haven't been able to resolve the issue with opening my account. Not to mention I have not received the sum they offered 3 months ago or any further communication.

The resident resolution team at Peabody are amazing . Especially Ruth . Ruth went the full mile to help us resolve at difficult drain issue with a private landlord next to our Peabody property. She coordinated the issue and ensured it went to correct people, in this case Thames water. Thank you .
