DXF lock is useless for practical use. It is so short that you can not include the rear wheel which is standard security advice. Additionally it is so small that you can't even lock the bike to certain bike racks. This is a standard commuter bike with a steel frame (so narrower than average).

Purchased the DXF lock from Evans Cycles. Testing the lock requires removing it from packaging. Evans Cycles refuses returns of anything opened and Hiplok told me that since I didn't purchase it directly from them they couldn't provide any help. They recommended purchasing additional locks instead.

I was encouraged by my local police service to register my tri-bike and consider upgrading my security. So searched online and found Hiplok. Plenty of choice and able to select the most suitable for my needs. I ordered on Wednesday and received my new lock and cable on Friday. Excellent service by Hiplok and DHL - kept well informed. I then registered my lock with Hiplok which was very easy and straightforward. Quality is excellent for the DX lock and cable. I consider it value for money. No hesitation to recommend Hiplok to others from my experience.

Fantastic customer response and communication from Megan at Hiplok. Lost my spare keys and they offered to swap the barrel as the keys may have been stolen. Unfortunately the barrel swap didn't go as planned and they sent a new lock FOC. Which was great news.

Excellent customer service. They replied to all correspondence within an hour or so and offered to replace a broken bracket free of charge without any questions. The lock itself is great, compact and secure, and the customer service is outstanding.

Unfortunately yet another company that misuses your data. Sending me several spam emails per week - which I unsubscribe to each of them, only to continue receiving them.

Sorry, I’m sick of companies marketing. If I unsubscribe then this should remove all emails.

It’s a shame as the lock is as expected

Purchased the latest DX1000 but it wont lock properly and cant remove the key when put together.
I am not the only customer to have this problem.
Not happy !

Compré un duplicado de mi llave de un candado Hiplok Gold hace más de 10 días hábiles y no me ha llegado. No me han dado ninguna actualización, no me han informado el estatus de mi compra y no me han dado mi reembolso. Van tres correos que mando pidiendo ayuda a support@hiplok y no responden.

DPD left v expensive lock on doorstep despite instruction to leave with a neighbour. I had to ring a neighbour to get it. DOD also said it had been given to me although I was 200 miles away at the time. Next time I’ll buy elsewhere

hiplok replaced like for like a lock which was cut like butter by some thief.
I didnt take the lock, but paid a fortune for their 2kg anti grinder lock. old was 1.1kg
The rubber sheath I removed for shrink tubing 250g lighter now.

I would as a design idea change the colour to something unique, plus sticker the D1000 in bold text, plus a padded sticker for the frame where the lock gets used the most to protect the frame, so thieves recognise the lock from afar and know not to bother grinding it.

Service was great, immediate dispatch and very quick delivery with delivery tracking notifications all the way.
The Hiplok DX1000 looks and feels exactly as described, although I'm not going to take an angle grinder to it to prove it.

Bought both the DX1000 and Mega chain. Very high quality and feel like they can last. When my parcel arrived the chain was missing, but once I raised it they immediately sent the second package.

This a great lock no doubt, however a bright Day-Glo covering would obviously make it more visible and cost pennies. I've wrapped mine in Electrical green and yellow earth tape! Also the package was an absolute pig to get open, no need to make it that difficult. Overall though I'd highly recommend this lock, I've seen how tough they are.

The purchase was straightforward, and the delivery fine. The item itself, while heavy, promises well; hard, after all to test but it is clearly robust.

Great zip tie lock. Use it every day on my motorbike - tying my backpack to the frame as I drive through London. Ingenious design. Easy to use. Great colours. Love it!

5 stars for customer service. I recently ordered a spare part for my lock. The item was not available seperately but I was helped by customer service. Even when there was a problem with shipment later, they adequately solved the issue. All this for a spare of a few EUR.

The emails did arrive in my spam filter all the time, so don't forget to check if you reach out to them.

I ordered a lock but received a completely different one. I have tried to contact Hiplok/Plus8 via email and the contact form on their website to no avail. I am stuck with an incorrect product.
