so as a first time buyer i was unsure what to expect with a survey but James could not of been anymore helpful was able to provide a sample report as well as when we came to our own report it was very in depth and i would recommend to anyone who is wanting a detailed surveyor who is happy to answer any questions we had

A clear and very detailed building survey was completed by James. He organised to complete the survey swiftly, and typed up the report within the week. Whilst we decided to pull out from the purchase as a result of the survey, we did so feeling fully informed of the financial risk continuing would entail. We could not fault the service provided by Stonehill Surveyors. The option to go through the report with James was available, however we felt that this wasn't necessary in our case. We will be using Stonehill Surveyors to provide a report on our next potential home, as we could not fault the service.

The overall process and experience were very well managed by James. I found it extremely helpful to meet up immediately after the survey to talk through the key findings. This was excellent and helped us enormously to understand the key issues and how they should be addressed. Not that we intend to move again, but if we did, we would absolutely use James again…100%.

Fantastic and very detailed survey which resulted in me saving myself a lot of money and heartache down the line. Delivered the survey in a timely manner could not fault it. As a result of the survey I didn’t buy the property.

For the subsequent property I foolishly didn’t use Stonehill Surveyors Ltd, as I was persuaded by the estate agents to use theirs. However I regret this decision as it was no where near the high standards, in terms of detail.
