He came incredibly close to offering the best cost, but in the end, making the switch just didn’t make sense for me right now. That said, he was more than happy to re-quote in a few months to see if anything changes. Through out the 2-3 week process he made himself available to answer all my questions in a transparent and clear way. I eventually decided to move forward based on his recommendations and the overall value of the services. I'm looking forward to being a long time client.

Terrible Service
I have been a customer for over a decade and am now moving my policies to a different brokerage. Service was great when I first started with Surex; unfortunately, it has gone downhill over the past few years.
In September 2025, while shopping for a new car, it took five days to hear back from anyone—after five phone calls and multiple emails—only to be told that my representative no longer worked for Surex. I was reassigned and then informed it would take another seven days to receive a quote. I went elsewhere and had a policy in place the same day. I eventually did receive a quote from Surex five days after I had already picked up my new car. The quote was double the price and it was clear no effort had been made to shop around.
In March 2026, I called my representative and left a voicemail to update an address on my auto policy. It has now been 20 days and I still have not received a response.

i would not recommend Surex, there are many other brokers who would be happy to provide better service.
