Poorly labelled website and extortionate prices

I bought a replacement cover fix for my dishwasher that was broken by an indesit engineer when they came to repair a pump. I paid £13 in total (£10 + £3 delivery) for a part that must cost pennies to make only to find out only the right hand cover fix was included, the side of the cover fix was not included in the title of the part, only in the middle of a paragraph of text. I then had to use the search function to find the left hand one as it was about 100 parts lower than the right hand one. Complete rip off, I wouldn't have paid the other £13 if I had any other option.

RIP off

Lovely engineer,
A job I could have done myself for a part that's £30!
Your greedy money grabbers and I can see the element that was removed & kept for trading standards to clearly see it was a faulty element that has split where it was solderd...
I have reported to trading standards as I don't expect an oven repair to cost almost as much as the oven 18 mth ago .
I had a Bosch oven 16 yrs no faults.
An engineer should cost no more than £30 for the 45 mins he was here . And the part costs £30 .
My dyson hoover repair call out is FREE with NO added warranty they simply know a household item SHOULD last a reasonable amount of time before repair ..
so over all a complete con

to anyone, the engineer came and told him the problem was that the spinner was not spinning properly to dry the clothes they were still wet after spin finished.I told him the drum was making noises he came out never done nothing said the washing machine is on wooden floor not level thats why its not spinning what a
joke never examined the machine and went

Stay far away from Indesit

Stay far away from Indesit. They are the worst company for customer service, and product line. I have tried 3 indesit cloths washers. Each one broke down in under the waranty time, then they lied to us about how long it would take to find a "modual" to fix our machine. We waited between 4 and 7 weeks without a machine. They did not compensate us for our time and money to wash elsewhere. If the people at Indesit are continuing to replace the same part, they should keep this part in stock, but they are too stupid and too uneducated to be working at anything. I would NEVER again have an Indesit again, not even to save my mothers life. Their products start electrical fires, their customer service lie to you, and thats when and if you can get one on the line. They are so full of crap, that all they try to do is try to sell you an extended waranty on their useless, no good, always breaking down equipment. They have been reported to the Standards and Trades, and the Better Business Bureuro. I am so disappointed with their product, they should not be in business anymore!!!!!!

Worst washing machine

Since September 2 engineer have came out and washing machine still not repaired sounds like a plane. First wash after getting it repaired it has ripped my Son’s school PE kit top on the sleeve and on all the washing little bits off rubber I am so frustrated and angry. I will reporting it.

My washing machine handel broke so I order a new part from www.indesit spare parts at £17.90 they offered next day delivery for £15.90 I took this with having my disabled daughter to think about as I really need it on a daily as for wet sheet ect they told me it would be delivered by hermes so when it hadn't arrived at 4 o clock I phoned Indesit to ask what was going on they said I would be refunded £9,00 I said that i was not excepting that to be told they were not giving me back my 15.90 they were giving me 9.00 pound back as that was the difference between next day delivery and standard delivery .shame on you Indesit I,m a single parent on benefits

Guarentees not honoured.Shocking Service

Dad bought fridge,Light gone out after three months. Indesit want to charge him and ignore 12 month guarentee. They were able to find someone to call him in person to register the fridge within a hour of delivery, but now one answering phone line and live chat was the most awful and indifferent attitude.Will be writing to trading and standards under sales and goods act 1979.

The wost posibile service received

The wost posibile service received. Would not recommend buying goods and services from this company. My was incomplete only to told I have to reorder. No apology or no compensation in any measure. They where quick to take my money for the spare part but not to help. With my incomplete service.

Ordered a new dishwasher

Ordered a new dishwasher. Arrived as promised all good. Works well. Installation instructions vague to say the least. Went online to download manual, site did not recognise model number so called up to hear to busy and disconnected me. Tried chat online, not available as busy. Will probabey send it back. Dread to think what would happen if it went wrong.

Never, never buy any Indesit products.

We have tried constantly to make contact with Indesit. We bought a washing machine in July. It stopped working over a month ago. Although, we have had two visits from engineers, it has not been fixed and it is impossible to speak to anyone. When we had a reply to our previous review, it included a link to a website, where there is no facility to send an email. It is a total nonsense. I am a keyworker, working through lockdown in school, as a secondary teacher to critical workers' children and I am having to wash all my work clothes by hand. The service is non existent. It is disgusting, that they evade accountability. Bogus links are NOT links. Indesit - Do not send a reply, telling me how sorry you are, that I am disappointed. These are empty, trite words to give the appearance of concern. Customers - never, never, take the risk of buying any appliances from this company.

Worst customer service and very poor quality

So I am renting an apartment and my lease is almost up, since I broke the door of my salad fridge drawer (simply by pulling it just to give you an idea of the bad quality of the plastic) I decided to replace it without having to deal with my landlord. I ordered the new part (by the way I had to replace the whole drawer since apparently they don't sell the door separately) and guess what? It arrived a week later with the door broken! I have been trying to contact them for days to have it replaced ASAP and all I've heard is an automated message saying they are too busy to reply, a chat on the website that keeps ending by itself before I can even type anything because apparently there is no one available on it, and two emails neither of which have been replied to. Now I'm probably gonna have to pay extra out of my deposit at the end of my lease all because of ridiculous customer service and two identical broken parts which are clearly of very poor quality.

Update:
Once I finally got through to the customer service (5 days later) they were actually quite helpful, although I still haven't received my refund and I sent the item back 6 days ago so my issue is still not quite resolved

Still waiting for tumble dryer belt…

Still waiting for tumble dryer belt after a week. Website says tracked delivery but it just gets marked “dispatched” no contact phone number, only email which warns replies take 48hrs. Even in current pandemic conditions delivery doesn’t take a week. Embarrassing website and company avoid to buy elsewhere or buy a new appliance

Walk away and buy yourself a Cheaper Brand

Walk away and buy yourself a Beco or some other Cheaper Product which will provide much more value for money than any Indesit Machine currently on the Market.
I run and own a Holiday Rental Company and up to last year we had Indesit's in every one of our Properties, never again! what a desaster when it comes to cost and time in repairs and do not believe a SINGLE WORD from Customer Service, who never confirm anything ever said or promissed by Email and when asked they said they do not do Emails!?!
We are now rolling out a replacement program of selecting Cheaper Brands in an industry having chosen to dispose rather than repair it's products economically, unfortunatley is now the way forward.

85 year old disabled woman left with no fridge freezer

My 85 year old disabled grandmother has been without a Fridge freezer now for 11 days. It took you over a week just to go and look at it now you are waiting for parts with no eta. Absolutely disgusting service. It's only a year old, you should be replacing the whole thing in today's current situation. Customer service couldn't care less.

Quick and efficient service

Quick and efficient service. The drop down options on the website made it easy to find the part I needed. I was able to confirm it was the correct part as all the compatible machines were listed. Competitively priced. Only thing I would’ve liked was a notification that my order had been dispatched
