I expected the Luxuria coach to have…

I expected the Luxuria coach to have w-fi and there was none. The journeys were very long. Got back on Sunday, had to spend hours in A&E yesterday and go back again this morning as DVT was suspected. Fortunately blood tests were ok but still need another appointment for a scan. There should be an option to fly or at least go by train so not sitting for 14 hours in a coach. The places we visited were nice and the staff were good.

Couldnt see any reason ti be taken to…

Couldnt see any reason to be taken to lech ... as nothing opened until 10am . Hard pushed to find a coffee shop . Eventually we did spend 2 hrs in there as no where else to go . Looked out of place as it's a ski resort . Felt Rushed the whole holiday . Take your own travel kettle etc as nothing in the rooms .Roads were all very clear although lots of snow didn't affect the journey . Colmer very pretty place need more time in these places . Take a bus up to the castle €5 euros return . Horse & carriage €12 up & €4 down
There is a little walk when you get off the bus .up hill coming back I found this hard ,
Coffee & Gift in castle .
Again rushed as I'm sure Drivers didn't want get caught in traffic ( Never any traffic ????)

Apart from a really early start I…

Apart from a really early start I cannot fault this holiday the coach crew were attentive and informative
The hotels were clean comfortable great choice of continental breakfast and meals at the main hotel were good
The trips included in the holiday were amazing

Something easy.

An easy to use sight for me. I am at an age now that would see me have mastery over a monetary system where 240 pennies would make a pound; but then so would 20 shillings, 40 sixpences and eight half crown's by the time I was 10. My point being that even for me with little knowledge of computers can still book a holiday on line with leger. If I get it wrapped around my kneck I can always call on my land line.

Our guide Colin was very informative…

Our guide Colin was very informative and cheerful, but lacking in organisation when he didn’t get us all into a group before moving off.We became a straggly line following others. In the beginning we didn’t know any of the others, so were unsure who was with us. Our guide Colin did not have a tall staff or flag to hold up, he is not tall, so it was difficult and stressful to keep up. His walking tours would have been more helpful if we at the back could have heard him, without having to repeat himself. At Gare de Lyon in Paris he told us to leave our cases together and he would watch them while we all went to get a sandwich. He told us the time to return, but one couple didn’t return on time,possibly had not changed their watches, the rest of us had done so, and it would have been essential for Colin to remind us all to do this. When we returned to our cases, Colin was missing, one of our party left to watch them. Then Colin came back saying hurry, take cases and make for the gate as we were boarding. We did not have our own tickets, as Colin had them all on his phone, not the best idea I would have thought. This meant we all had to go through together, almost impossible in the crush, and then the cases from the missing couple were left unattended. Colin grabbed them and took them onto the train. He left a message with Eurostar that two more were to follow on a later train..It must have been a terrifying experience for them returning to the gate to see cases gone, also the rest of the party! They were an elderly couple,with no tickets……as the tickets were on Colin’s phone!
Colin said he’d arranged a taxi to pick them up at Nice when they eventually arrived, but it turned out, the couple couldn’t find it, as we found out, the taxis stop outside round a corner, so they had to hire one themselves to come to the hotel, by then nearly midnight.
On arrival at Paris Gare du Nord,for the coach to Gare de Lyon there were many coaches parked, we walked beside all of them looking for ours, no luck. No coach had Leger or Gare de Lyon on the front. All the other groups were being led to a coach, but we shambled in the road, across the pavements, to the end of the parking street, then turned and came all the way back. Dragging cases all the way. Colin said to wait, so we got in a group while he had a second look at the first coach we had passed, which turned out to be ours! No Leger notice on it, so maybe not Colin’s fault. It would have been better if he had kept us in a group to wait until he found the coach instead of us all trailing after him.

As a guide he was good with history and local facts, but only spoke to the first few in our party of over 30 who were near to him to hear.He was unfailingly polite and cheerful.
He took us to the Olive oil museum, but when we all met up again at the front, having gone round it, he was nowhere to be seen . We waited a while expecting him to return, so we could discuss where we went next, or mainly tell him if we wished to leave the group and do our own tour next. He didn’t come back, luckily no one was depending on Colin to get back on the bus for our trip back to the hotel.
I know we are all adults, but even so, our guide should have ascertained beforehand if everyone was happy to go independently exploring.
We all thought a large group such as ours should have 2 guides.On the final day at Menton carnival, Colin finally had a flag to guide us all back to the coach, although there seemed to be a hit hitch there as the coach was nowhere to be seen and finally arrived after all the other coaches in the lay-by had left.Colin had told us where the coach would be…… but it wasn’t there!

The hotel was absolutely lovely,right by the sea.. staff very friendly and helpful.

Christmas Spectacular in Austria and Scenic Trains

The luxuria coach was so comfortable…

The luxuria coach was so comfortable and the coach crew Marcus and Richard were brilliant,the excursions were brilliant we saw loads of snow which was the main aim. The only downside was that the feeder coaches weren't luxuria so were very uncomfortable and having to travel from Blackpool to Folkestone it was a long journey and the food at the hotel wasn't really traditional Austrian food so was a bit disappointing but the breakfast was really good

Traveling solo

As a solo traveler I'm always in admiration of the expertise of the drivers (crew) of this company I’ve been on a lot of tours and they never disappoint .. on another note some of the food and hotel choices are to be desired they do not come up to standard especially with the single supplement costs I would expect standards to be slightly higher 😔
The crews do go above and beyond to help in all manners

Scenic Italian delights and exciting Venice Carnivale

Our tour guides and drivers Graham and Schabba were great! with just that right balance of humour and professional attentiveness. It was my first Leger trip and coach holiday and I felt in safe hands. The journey getting there and back was smooth and scenic, but a very long journey for the amount of time spent in Italy. A longer period holiday would have been better. The main hotel was OK / clean with a comfy bed and good shower and excellent choice at breakfast. The evening meals were OK. Lake Garda, Venice and Verona were stunning!

Ideal for first time single traveler

This was my first holiday on my own,I was apprehensive at first but our drivers Chris and Blake were very professional and nothing was too much trouble for them, even after long days they never stopped working with organising things behind the scenes, I quickly made friends with people so I needn’t have worried, the whole process from start to finish was well organised and trouble free.

Done the Senic Austrian Winter…

Done the Senic Austrian Winter Wonderland with my anty . Got to say what a experience it has been. It is my 1st time with Ledger and 1 can only praise them especially our Drivers Blake and Chirs wha are real tidy lads very good knowledge and a a pleasure to talk to . It was a disaster from start to finish…s

It was a disaster from start to finish that’s being polite.two days travel overnight hotel had no kettle in room and there was nothing to eat .arived at hotel which was very nice and friendly staff made us welcome.first trip out to a biscuit factory was a waste of time wasn’t allowed to see how they where made ect.could only walk around shop selling there biscuits ,then of to find markets another waste
Day four was a bit better at the chocolate factory could have lasted longer 3hours would have been better then went to find markets waste there .next day was to a lake spent 2hours driving round then went on a ferry on lake but as usual all wrong the ferry was a public crossing ferry more money wasted there .could go on but I won’t overeat all very disappointing
